Happy International Scrapbook Day, everyone, and thank you for spending part of your day with us! Keep on creating and documenting your memories, friends! We will see you back here on Monday!

My favorite tip is not to be a perfectionist and tell the story!!! aka journal!
My favorite tip is to pull colors from your photos. It makes the finished page work well together with the photos because the colors are similar.
My favorite tip would be that you don’t have to have the exact papers/dies/colors to make a layout that you’ve seen. Do your own thing, with what you already have! Which is easier said than done hahah
My tip is to start with a sketch, but don’t worry about following it too closely. It’s good to get started and get the creativity flowing.
Doodlebug is my favorite!!! And I love this paper line.
I like to remind myself “it’s only paper”
We will all make mistakes (too much glue, cut the wrong size, etc). Sometimes the “accidents” actually make your page better!!
If your layout does not have journaling try and mark on the back with who, where and when.
What a beautiful layout, love the layering. My tip is to start building your layout from where you want your eye to be drawn and work out from there.
Die cut tiny hearts and stars and keep them on hand to use on your pages as embellishments.
My favorite tip is to remember to use foam to pop up a feature photo or your title. It is just that something extra that makes it more interesting.
My favorite scrapbooking tip is to use the good supplies. Don’t save them because they’re special – USE them because they’re special!
Oh I so agree with this!!
Don’t let perfect keep you from finishing and enjoying your scrapbook pages. Your family won’t notice and they’ll be so excited to relive their memories through your thoughtful and lovingly completed albums.
My tip is to use a sketch for a quick way to design your pages without having to think too hard.
My favourite tip/reminder is to layer, layer, layer!! Start with a background to be used as an outline. Today has been so much fun! Thanks SCT!!
Love this
My favourite scrapbooking tip is to use the colours and vibe/energy of your photos to inspire your layout. I find using the photos as your main starting point in designing the layout is so helpful in staying more focussed and making it easier to choose papers, colours, and ephemera to create the layout!
My favorite tip is to coordinate my layout with colours in photos.
Beautiful layout from Brianna, favorite tip is to edge distress my pattern papers in my layers that way everything goes together even different collections
I’m not one to do one picture on one whole page … I like lots of pictures on a layout so my favorite tip is us templates that let you put multiple pictures on a page with a plan! I’ve always collected templates and have a great collection of them! Becki Adams even used a template this morning! My favorite tip! :D
Learning about embellishment clusters.
My most useful tip is a shammy (from Dollar store) to clean stamps (it let them so clean & without lint). Washable in the washing machine and clean even if colors seems to be on the shammy.
Layering is my thing!
It’s interesting to me how different everyone uses the supplies.
My favourite tip is to use a sketch to get started. It helps when you don’t know where to begin.
My favourite tip is to pop up embellishments with foam squares to add dimension to your layouts. Thank you for the great demo!
I love using pops of black on my layouts – it makes all the other colours “shine brighter”
adore Doodlebug products this is so cute my favorite tip is to layer patterns and colors
My favorite tip is to use elements of three to create a natural balance on the page.
I loved watching Brianna create today, using strips to layer is a fabulous tip! Definitely going to add this collection to my creative activities this month!! Thank you so much🤗 Happy National Scrapbooking Day🎉🎉
I loved the whole layout and the tip of inking the butterfly paper to tone down the brightness. I will definitely use that. Today was so much fun! Thank you!
Thank you for an interesting class in layering. Love the fact that to tell the story is more important than being a perfectionist. and to pull the colors from the photo. Thanks for sharing.
My tip would be to not try to scrap EVERY photo you take. Pick your favorites and spend more time creating wonderful projects with those.
My favortie scrapbooking tip is to use a sketch whenever possible, it’s saves time and your layout will look great!
My tip is to read Scrapbook and Cards Today! I get so many ideas and lots of inspiration from what I see and read in the magazine and from the many videos they produce for YouTube. It is an EXCELLENT resource.
Oh what a beautiful layout! So fun, happy, and very clever! I can’t wait to scraplift it! My favorite scrapbooking tip is to just start! Pick a photo, pick a SCT sketch or LO and scraplift it! Happy iNSD!! Thanks so much to all the sponsors, creators, and SCT for a fabulous day!!
My favourite scrapbooking tip would be to remember to wash your metal glue tips, so that you can actually use the glue the next time.😉
I love to use colour schemes inspired by nature or my favorite pieces of art,
My favourite tip is just to enjoy process, capture the memories and enjoy!
If you’re missing a picture (that’s not yet developed) just use a cardstock scrap to hold its place. Don’t let it stop you from creating your page.
I live by Vicki Boutin’s words of wisdom that “it’s only your time and a piece of paper.”
The point to scrapbooking is to have fun, don’t let it stress you. No mistakes just creative embellishing.
Oh my! What an adorable collection and the layout is super cute! My favourite tip (which I am learning about more from Allison) is to use a sketch to get the ideas flowing and you can copy it or head off on your own. Either way, it at least gets you started. I have made so many more layouts since I have gotten some sketch ideas. No more sitting for hours and wondering what to do!
You’re layering is wonderful. I’ve never thought to layer the pieces like that. But I will now.
Beautiful layout! Love the way you used 6 x 6 paper on a 12 x 12 layout
My favorite tip is to not compare yourself to others, especially if you are just beginning. Find inspiration and go for it! Social Media can be overwhelming. Find a designer or collection you love and use them as inspiration!
Dont overthink it. Just stick it down! Get those memories on paper.
I love DB and this new collection is so cute! I used to think my handwriting ruined the page and used to type everything, now I figure that’s what makes it special!
I think it’s great to learn to not overthink and just get the projects completed. It doesn’t need to be perfect!
My tip is when you are creating layers on your layout, layout everything in the arrangement that you like without using any glue. Once you find an arrangement that you like, take a picture of it with your tablet or phone. Then you have a reference for when you are gluing everything down.
Always add some journaling because you think you’ll always remember the people, place and occasion but others who look at the page won’t necessarily know that information and over time you may forget it also.
My favorite tip is to use the many inspirational posts and classes offered at SCT.
