Winter is upon us, and this colour suite is inspired by the season’s classic, timeless hues of red and green.
A subtle pop of pink, a creamy linen and a warm cappucino round out the palette. While red and green are
very traditional choices, the rosy shade of pink I selected gives the suite a nice twist, and the two neutral
colours add loads of warmth. I designed my page in a two-column format, carrying colours from one side
to the other to unify the page. What will you create with these five colours? I hope this colour suite puts
you in a cheerful, holiday mood and inspires you to scrap!
By stacking strips
of patterned paper
in a two-column
format, Summer
was able to use a
nice variety of
prints, both in
colour and scale.
She stopped short
of the left edge
with her candy
cane bracket
border to make
room for a
sentiment label.
