Three page sketches, three talented
designers, and three terrific results!
BY BECKY FLECK
One of the fun things about hiding journaling
on a layout is that it instantly makes your
page interactive, inviting the reader to go in
search of the story. We asked Kathy, Kimber
and Kelly to conceal their journaling in a
creative and clandestine way, and they came
up with three very unique and different ideas.
Read on for ideas on how you can add this
fun and entertaining technique to your next
layout!

“pull here”
Using a slide technique, often seen in cardmaking, Kathy came up with a very
engaging way to hide her journaling. Look closely at the chipboard camera and
you’ll see a small tab that says “look.” With a tug on the tab, her journaling
rolls out of the camera, revealing the story behind her photos. How inventive!

We  love how Kathy  directly  applied a  chipboard
polaroid  shape to one  of  her photos,  instantly framing
her  two adorable  subjects.
