As scrapbookers, many of us shy away from
creating pages about ourselves. Decades from
now, when your family looks back through your
albums, they will no doubt want to remember
as much about you as they do their own lives
that you so carefully recorded.
To begin this “All About Me” journey, start with
a subject that is easy and comfortable—your
favourites. This could be anything from your
current music playlists to television shows you
never miss, or perhaps the foods and drinks you
can’t live without.
After you’ve chosen a subject, start jotting
down your favourites. This could be as simple
as a bullet list or a short paragraph about each
thing you love. From there, comb through your
photos until you find ones of yourself that
work well with the subject. After that, the fun
begins, when your creativity takes over and an
All About Me page comes to life.

things you love
At the start of each new year, I create a
“favourites” layout that records all the things I
love at that particular time in my life. My girls
enjoy comparing it to past pages to see what
favs have changed or been added since the
previous year. ~ Christa
