Gather your supplies: watercolour
pencils, brush, water pen with brush,
blending pen, stamped image on
watercolour paper
Lightly draw a small area of waterco-
lour pencil. Blend it out with a wet brush
or blending pen to fill area in with a
base colour.
After step 2 dries, go back into same
area with more pencil colour, blending
it out to strengthen and shade.

Complete stamped image. Note: for
small areas, a fine paint brush works
best.

1 Make a 5.5”x4” card from white cardstock, with the opening on the bottom.
2 Stamp sentiment onto white cardstock. Trim to 4”x1.25” and adhere to the card,
flush with the bottom edge. Round the bottom corners of the card, using a .5” corner
rounder.
3 Adhere a strip of yellow fabric tape across center of card, just above the sentiment
piece.
4 Trim a 4”x4.25” piece of green dotted paper. Punch a scallop border along the bottom
edge and adhere to card as shown, flush with the top edge and slightly overlapping
the yellow tape.
5 Wrap white grosgrain ribbon around card and tie off in a bow on the left side.
6 Stamp gum boots image onto white cardstock and colour. Cut out coloured image
and adhere to front of card with dimensional adhesive.
7 Layer pink flower and crocheted flower and adhere as shown.
