To say that my favourite aunt’s gardens belong
on the cover of a horticulture magazine is an
understatement. Her green thumb, inherited
from my grandfather, is the envy of our family
and the inspiration for this altered shadow box
house turned potting shed.
Using an assortment of paper punches and
dies, I created a variety of flowers, leaves and
branches, which were tucked into the window
box and wooden pots. The swag and wreath
were created by layering and overlapping small
leaves and branches, then topping them off
with several sizes of flowers and gems.
