Today we want to share an important announcement with you: registration for our next one-day card making event, With Love, ends at the end of the week! Let’s find out more about this very special event!
What is ‘With Love’?
For years, we have loved Jennifer McGuire’s Share Handmade Kindness™ initiative and we are so excited to partner with Jennifer for this one-day event on February 8, 2025, to create cards to support, encourage, and uplift! This is not a Valentine’s Day event, but rather a day to create cards that tell someone that you care, show your support and friendship, or send a hug in paper form!
On February 8th, you will be treated to three classes taught by card making experts Cathy Zielske, Dana Joy, and Meghann Andrew, and wrap up the day with a special inspiration session with Jennifer McGuire as she gives you more ideas for how to stretch your kit supplies. Not available to take the classes live? No worries! You’ll have access to them anytime via the private class links. Our three class instructors will also share full PDF instructions, too. With a gorgeous kit designed in partnership with Angie Blom Designs and Lisa Hetrick, you’ll create more than a dozen cards from the heart, for the heart!
What products will I receive in the kit?
In your With Love kit, you’ll receive:
- a 6×8 photopolymer stamp set
- a large package of dies
- stencils
- a storage pouch
- white cardstock
and of course, a surprise or two! In each of our sneaks found in this post, we have shared designs that you will find in the kit, drawn in Angie Blom’s beautiful, whimsical style. Our team and designers have been busy designing every single piece of this kit thoughtfully, and are so excited to share it with you!
What supplies will I need to join in?
Students will need a standard die-cut machine, a range of ink colours, coloured cardstock, blending tools, and general cardmaking supplies. A stamp positioner tool is also encouraged. Four weeks before the class date, a full student supply list, including the cardstock and ink colours the instructors will use will be released so that you have plenty of time to purchase should you wish to use the same supplies as the instructors. However, we always encourage you to use what you have on hand!
What else do I need to know?
When you join in an event with us, whether a three-day or a one-day, you are never alone! You will have access to a private Facebook group where you can join other classmates from around the world to get excited about the class, share ideas, inspire one another, and share your finished cards. A link to the Facebook Group will be included in your SCT order confirmation email and the group will open on January 7, 2025 so that you can start connecting with your fellow card makers!
