Hi there SCT fans! It is free cut file time again and the June cut file is full of fun and is so versatile!
Download HERE
This month, I cut the cut file from some simple white cardstock and used it as a mask to create a soft, pretty design on the background of my layout. Take a look at how this technique turned out!
Supplies | Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned paper, stickers: Simple Stories I Am Collection; Gold clip, Art Crayons, stencil brush: Vicki Boutin; Embellishments: Crate Paper
I used yellow and pink Art Crayons and added color over top of the masked area to add a fun and whimsical design to the left side of my page.
Once I added the color to the top portion of the page, I moved it lower and repeated the pattern again with the same results, finishing off the page with a fussy cut title, patterned paper and some embellishments!
This file is perfect to cut as a layerable item, to use as a background, or use it like I did: as a mask or stencil! You can have lots of fun with this month’s freebie. Be sure to download HERE.
I hope you like this cut file and will use it on a future project! Please tag me, @nicolenowosad and @sctmagazine on social media if you do, so that we can see how you used the cut file!

What a clever thing to use a cutfile as a stencil! Thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous layout. I love the colours and the layers. If I had an electronic cutting machine I would definitely use that cutfile because it is so pretty!
I love this file Nicole! I definitely want to give this one a go! It would be pretty used like a doily.
I love the whimsical feel of this layout and your idea to use the cut file as a stencil. Very cool!
