Hello! It’s Latisha Yoast here with you today with something a little special. Our friends over at Lawn Fawn have released their first card kit: High Five! It is so, so cute and so exciting. The kit includes the High Five stamp set and coordinating die, Honeycomb shaker gift tag die, Honeycomb stencil, Stripes ‘n Sprinkles 6 x 6-inch paper pad and Sparkle Glaze. This is such a fun kit to play with! It allows for intricate scenes, shaker elements or something clean and simple.

This first card I created uses just about every element in the High Five card kit. There is a shaker hexagon using the tag die, ink blending with the stencil, stamping, coloring… the whole shebang! I love color, and the combination between pink, orange and yellow is always so pretty, I focused the design around the inked blended background.

After stamping and coloring the images, they were fussy cut (you can also die cut them with the coordinating dies) and adhered with foam adhesive to give the card extra depth. The tag shaker card is so fun to play with and turning it into a shaker element was easy to do by just cutting off the tag top with scissors. The sentiments were stamped in Versamark ink, then heat embossed with Lawn Fawn white embossing powder.

The next few cards are easier to create and also incorporate the 6 x 6-inch paper pad included in the kit. The patterned paper was trimmed to 4 x 5.5 inches and adhered to the card front. Then the white panel was ink blended using the honeycomb stencil and ink that coordinated with the paper. The sentiments were stenciled in black ink. Then the images were stamped, colored in and adhered with foam adhesive.

This is the simplest card created with the kit, but is still so cute. There is just something so easy and satisfying about creating a monochromatic card. And the Stripes ‘n Sprinkle 6 x 6-inch pad has the prettiest papers, so bonus!
