Hello! I know it's been several days and it's time to catch up! I can certainly share what we've been up to and hope you'll share what you've been up to as well! Since coming back from Utah three weeks ago it's been a bit nutty around the SCT offices. We've had two event registrations happen (Moncton & Abbotsford, BC), two issues go off to print, our winter issue and our 2016 Creative Planner and we have not one, not two but THREE kits that will go on sale tomorrow. We've been busy editing, kitting, event planning machines…and we love every single minute of it!
Here's a peek at the Crop & Create Delivered kits that will all be on sale tomorrow evening at 9:00 pm EST including our brand new Life in Pockets kit!
and our brand new Life in Pockets kit designed by Jess Forster…

We loved this amazing Nutcracker by Jennifer Beason featuring Doodlebug's newest Christmas collection!
So friends, that is what we've been up to and we've missed you! Tell me what you've been up to in the comments and below and I'm going to send a little "something, something" to one of you that shares!

Whew, you are busy! I have been up to trying to be more conscientious to share kindness as inspired by Jennifer McGuire this month. I have done meals, cookies, phone calls, cards, little gifts, special emails and snail mail letters, visiting, and other various kind gestures. I must say kindness is needed wherever we go.
Trying to keep up with my 3 year old granddaughter who has been with me for 3 weeks, fighting an infection, having issues come up from a chest xray that shows bad things, Sharing handmade kindness and just trying to keep my head above water and survive!! NOt much excitement but that is fine with me..
So far this year I have made wedding invitations for my son and for my grandson and sweet 16 invitations for my grand-daughter. And now it’s time for Christmas cards!
I’m loving your kits and I want to put them on my Christmas Wish list for family. I’m not quite sure how to link them up to this page where you are showing it. :)
I forgot to tell you what I have been up to this year: I did a 50 yr Anniversary album highlighting the life of my brother and sister and law, as a gift to them. They loved it. I am also in the process of doing an Engagement album for my daughter and also another album for my brother. Other albums I have on the go is a Heritage album and one for each of my grandchildren and a vacation album. Lots of albums. That didn’t stop me from making birthday, 25th and 50th anniversary cards etc. And in the process of all this I am also organizing my scrapbook room. So it has been a busy year this year. :)
I have been gathering goodies as I am heading off to a fabulous scrapping retreat with my Mom, Sister and Daughter…..we are going to have a BLAST!!!
Gorgeous projects, and WOW on the kits! Looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with family. We’ve been busy with the end of high school football/marching band season – we’re a band family and always volunteer for all our kids’ events. Since their team lost in the playoffs, I’m hoping to make time to finally get back to crafting again. It’s been a couple of months since I’ve had time to make pretty stuff!
Awesome kits. I’ve been sick; but, trying to get some Christmas cards done! Not doing so great at it tho’.
We’ve had to do some remodeling too as our roof is leaking. Bummer!!!
Thanks so much for sharing with us!
This is gorgeous!
well, I thought I would catch up on the SCT blog, as I was unable to check out my fave blogs this week due to the fact that I recently started a new job! After almost 9 months of being out of work, it sure is a relief!! And beside that, my daughter has been down and out with a nasty virus–can’t shake it.
Those examples are awesome—loving that nutcracker!
Busy packing as I am also off to a retreat this weekend the first one for me leaving my sick family behind does not help but I have been so looking forward to it so I can create some memories for my children. Just love the Nutcracker.
Love that nutcracker!! Very beautiful!! I’m working on my final cards for Caring Hearts Card drive.
I’ve been working on holiday decorations and cards along with meal planning for Thanksgiving.
Every year, I make my nieces & nephews an ornament & give to them on Thanksgiving. Well, most are getting older, so this year I made the oldest six a bookmark & the younger three an ornament. I will give their gift to them on Thanksgiving. And this year, I made my mom an advent calendar of tags, kept in two recycled mint tins. I will also give that to her on Thanksgiving. And now to start my cards for Christmas …
Nice projects, love the nutcracker – my son collects them. I have been working on scrapping photos from this year, up to March right now.
WOW! I guess you have been busy. Love what you all have been up to. The kits all look amazing, the projects are darling, but that Nutcracker is fabulous. I have managed to finish all my Christmas Cards and need to finish the Annual Christmas letter and start a new part-time job this fall. Working on 4 albums for the great nieces & nephews, which I might get caught up again by the next spring. HAHAHA. And of course, registering for C&C Abbotsford. Yay!
Wow…I got winded just reading what all has been keeping you busy *whew* I’ve been working on getting my crafty space re-organized after having to move it all to a new room.
Fab kits! I’ve had a stinker of a cold, but have been trying to get my Christmas cards made and also some general cards that I give to a couple of friends for their pressie.
Wow you’ve been busy bees! I so wish I lived close so I could attend one of your fun events. Do you ever come near to Maine?? All the projects today are fabulous but that nutcracker… oh my! He’s amazing!! I’ve been working on Christmas cards, Christmas cards and more Christmas cards. ;0)
Life has been busy, busy, busy. Planning on making some cute paper Christmas houses this weekend with the kids. We are patiently waiting for Ginger, our house elf, to arrive back from the North Pole. Then there is always planning on what cookies to bake and how many batches of truffles will need to be made and dipped. Christmas is coming and we just can’t wait. Planning on a nice Latte while I flip through my Scrapbook and Cards Today for more inspiration.
What have I been up to? You mean besides work, Christmas shopping and baking, and the regular hodpodge of daily living???
Creatively, I finished off the family summer album. And now I am into the flurry of finishing off home made gifts (a canvas, a Kaisercraft advent calendar, a mini album, the last pages of the family 2016 calendar I need to copy for each of the kids’ families), and creating Christmas cards (Have invited over a couple of creative ladies to make cards with this weekend).
I’ve been up to lots of physical therapy. Yuck but it will help so ok… And, I’ve been teaching a few classes at the local scrapbook store! Soul Sentiments!
I hosted a Scramble for the Hero Arts flickr group & I’ve been making cards & tags–mostly holiday. I did take time to actually address & mail my Thanksgiving cards so they arrive on time! Most of my Halloween cards were late, so trying to be better about that. Love making cards, but the addressing envelopes is not my favorite–haha!
So great to get an update on all the goings on at SCT! Sounds like you have amazing things coming up! Jennifer McGuire’s Share Handmade Kindness challenge has been keeping me creatively busy as I make cards in an attempt to pay forward some of the wonderful kindness that I have been blessed to have had shared with me. Wishing all the SCT team a wonderful weekend! Looking forward to the upcoming winter issue!
Just getting ready for the holidays. I still have to make my Christmas cards and finish an album that is a gift. I sure could use some more times.
Wow! You have been busy. It looks like everyone is busy this time of year. The kits look amazing. I cannot wait to get the new issue of the magazine. I always look forward to pouring over the magazine over my Christmas vacation.
Have a great Holiday season!
Beautiful projects. I’ve been missing my scrapbooking while trying to get over a cold and planning Sunday School advent activities. Can’t wait to get back at it!
Great layout for Potato Harvest — making Thanksgiving and Christmas cards.
Reading about all that you’ve had going on makes me feel out of breath!! Can’t wait to see what your DT does with those kits. I’ve been working on some Christmas craft ideas for the kids to do at Thanksgiving dinner and whipping up a few Christmas cards to donate to nursing homes. Feeling very inspired!
So your whole house is full, Catherine? I’m happy to be part of the crew that keeps you busy! I’ve ordered the planner & the card kit. Looking forward to the winter issue! It’s funny – nutcrackers usually freak me out. I think this is the first one that I’ve ever thought was adorable! But it is Doodlebug…..that’s probably why!
Finally finished my week in the life album! Finished 2012 in my sons album. Love seeing what you are up to!! Thanks for all the ideas.
I’ve been watching a lot of basketball! – My daughter plays for her school and working with the kiddos in my grade two class. Filling my days!
I’m not sure I’ve ever answered this question, if you’ve asked it before, but I do love SCT! This year I joined two design teams, May Arts Ribbon and the DoubleClick Skittles embellishment line. I love all the inspiration that I find here and I love everything from the cut files by Nicole, to the fun recipes that are occasionally shared. Thank you!
Love the blog.
fantastic project, I have been prepp’n for a winter kitchen reno, starting in January…ugh
