Good morning and Happy 2019 cut file fans! Nicole here to kick off a fun new year of free cut files! This month’s freebie is perfect for a background on your project, or would be great used as a stencil!
download HERE
Here is what I created with this versatile cut file:
Supplies: Patterned paper, die cut ephemera, journaling card, Art Crayons, Thickers: Vicki Boutin; Clip: Heidi Swapp; Enamel buttons: Shimelle
I cut the background from some white cardstock and left the design intact on my cutting mat so that I could add some watercolouring to the background design. I used some Vicki Boutin Art Crayons to add touches of yellow to the white cardstock in just a few areas, being careful not too add too much water.
This woven design is perfect to tuck in some fussy cut flowers or ephemera, so I did just that, arranging the items around my journaling card, title and photo of ME!
I encourage you to download this cut file HERE and give it a try on your next project, maybe even include a photo of YOU to kick off the new year!
Enjoy and see you next month!
~ Nicole

2019 will be a year of adventures in card making…and gift tags, bookmarks, and envelopes. But this will not happen until I get organized…ugh! Loved this card on the blog!
I love blogs! I plan to use all these blogs to improve my crafting…and to feel empowered to work on my own designs.
Gorgeous page. Love the design.
Wow. Stunning.
OK, I’m showing my lack of knowledge here, but what exactly is a cut file and how do you use it? I have a Cricut Expression. Would that work or would I need a newer machine?
Beautiful layout with the cut file design. Thanks.
Beautiful layout! I love the cut file! I’m new to this blog so I have a question. Is the cut file only available for a limited time or will it be accessible for a while? My computer is currently out of commission until I can get it fixed ????
