Hello everyone! It's Lisa Dickinson here today and I'm excited to be sharing a new layout! On this page, I've used a larger photo on one half and balanced it with a grid of smaller photos on the other half.
The left half features one photo enlarged to 11×7 with a bold die-cut title layered over it. Below the photo, I punched out ten 2" squares from the patterned paper and layered them with chipboard, die cuts, brads, stickers & journaling strips.
On the right half of the page, I continued the grid design but used slightly larger (2.25") squares. In addition to eight photos from my daughter's last day of school, I alternated the 16-square grid with eight more patterned paper squares. I used one of these squares as a journaling block and tried to select a variety of accents that reinforced the page theme to adorn the others. I love the texture and detail the layered accents bring to a design!
Thanks so much for stopping by – hope you inspired to created your own grid-based double pager!
I absolutely love this!! I’m a big fan of grids and what a great way to use up scraps and leftover embellishments. It’s going in my scraplift pile pronto! TFS Lisa!
