Welcome back to day four of Love Week here on the SCT blog! Do you remember this collection from Doodlebug Design? It was one of our favourites!

Rainbows and flowers and cookies with sprinkles, coffee with donuts and small stamps with crinkles, nicely wrapped packages tied up with string… these are a few of our favorite things! Valentine’s Day is the time to share your favorite things with the ones you love. Sweet holiday colors in adorable traditional and everyday designs are what make this collection so fun and versatile! It’s perfect for seasonal crafting, scrapbooking, and making a one-of-a-kind love note! With so many cute icons, you’ll be on cloud nine creating with Lots of Love!

Today we’re welcoming Kathy Skou from the Doodlebug design team to show us two simple, yet oh-so-sweet greeting cards created with Lots of Love! Let’s take a look!

Happy almost Valentine’s Day, SCT friends!  This is Kathy Skou from the Doodlebug Design Team, and I’m excited to be here as part of Scrapbook & Cards Today’s Love Week! Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. It’s such a fun day to tell all of the special people in your life that you love them! I used Doodlebug Design’s Lots of Love Collection along with the Love Notes Doodle Cut stand-alone dies to create these fun cards!

Supplies | Doodlebug Design Lots of Love 6×6 pad, Doodlebug Design Lots of Love Chit Chat pieces, Doodlebug Design Lots of Love Mini Icon stickers, Doodlebug Design Lots of Love icon stickers, Doodlebug Design Love You More Shaped Sprinkles, Doodlebug Design Floral Graph Petite Prints – Cupcake, Love Notes Doodle Cuts dies, white cardstock

For my first card, I used the larger envelope die from the Love Notes Doodle Cuts.  I layered it on top of some papers from the Lots of Love 6×6 pad.  Coming out of the envelope are some die cut Xs and O’s along with tiny heart sprinkles. I created the sentiment using the new Alphabet Soup puffy alphas in Ladybug.  I love the dimension they add!

My second card uses four of the smaller envelopes from the die set.  I love a good grid and thought it would be fun to make a grid of tiny envelopes.

I used papers from the Lots of Love 6×6 pad to cut the envelopes. and filled them with stickers from the Icons and Mini Icons sticker sheets. How cute is that little bear? And the elephant?  I love them!  The sentiment is from the Lots of Love Chit Chat pieces.  And of course, I had to add a few tiny heart sprinkles—they are too cute to resist!

I created this video showing how I put together these cards.  I hope it helps you to find inspiration to create some of your own for the holiday!

Thanks for stopping by today!
