Happy first Monday of November!
Though gratitude is something we can share all year long; November tends to be the perfect month to reflect on bounty and blessings. Some people turn to social media to share things and people they are grateful for while others utilize gratitude journals, pocket pages, or mini albums to document thanks.
My projects today will be a physical way to show my appreciation to people in my life. I’ve made five tags to jot a note of gratitude on the back and hand directly to these people. There’s something so special about giving something handmade to someone with the knowledge that it was made exactly for them!
The colors of the Harvest Home Patterned Paper Pack from Concord & 9th set the tone for my thankful tags.

Supplies | Cardstock, patterned paper: Concord & 9th; Stamps: Hero Arts; Ink: Concord & 9th, Simon Says Stamp; Dies: Hero Arts, My Favorite Things; Gems: Honey Bee Stamps; Twine: Lawn Fawn; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, Simon Says Stamp; Other: Ribbon

Once I chose five patterns, I made these five tags mass production-style: die cut all tags from cardstock, adhered paper and trim, die cut leaves, stamped sentiments, die cut sentiments, adhered sentiments with foam tape (the only way the leaves are adhered to save time), added gems, and finally raided my ribbon stash for just the right array of colours and textures. The twine gave the tags just the right texture and finishing touch.

I’ve got the tags in the outgoing basket by my front door. The tags sitting there will be a reminder to be grateful and a reminder to hand them out!

My sister and I have invited 30 ladies from our church to come to our house and make tags in early December, and we are excited to share the bounty of our crafty stash and some fun and simple ways to make special handmade tags.
I hope you can spend time this month counting your blessings!

Lovely tags! Great stash buster, too.
I love your tags, and what a great idea to share fellowship by making tags with “non-crafting” friends!
