Happy Magazine Monday, friends!

Have you had the chance to dig into the Fall 2017 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today? We’re so proud how it turned out — and what a pleasure to think that all over the world YOU are reading it!

Today I want to give you a little peek into the issue and share with you…

FIVE THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THE FALL 2017 ISSUE!

  1. Embellishments

Lisa Dickinson wows in her Around the Page column giving us lots of great ideas for using all of those bits and pieces we’ve collected along the way. Her Cali Campus layout pictured below inspired me to no end with that large stitched circle anchoring her ring of embellishments.

  1. This layout

I love preserving memories of what’s making me tick at any given time, and Jen Chapin’s You Go Girl layout is super fun and cute! Consider how fun this layout will be to look at ten years from now.

  1. This card!

This card by Laura Bassen blows me away! The colors and graphic design with just the right tilt and touches of black and white simply make my heart sing!

  1. Reader submissions

Patty Folchert submitted this layout in answer to our PageMaps sketch. It’s so fun to see how the sketch is interpreted! I love how she stitched around the perimeter of the leaf, and the orange gingham and turquoise color combination is fresh and pretty.

  1. Inspiration Gallery

The Inspiration Gallery is so AWESOME! Our readers just knocked it out of the park sharing layouts, cards, and projects that not only feel autumnal and cozy, but also make me want to sit down and create. And THAT’S what it’s all about! One submission that I really adored was the Reasons 2 Be Happy Layout by  Bea Válint. Her title treatment is spectacular!

What were your favourite parts of the issue? We’d love to hear!

Here’s to fall!
