Meghann Andrew is a 30-something wife and mother of two living in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. When she’s not “momming,” she loves to work out, try new clean eating recipes, and document her family’s daily life in scrapbook layouts, pocket pages, and traveler’s notebooks. With a background in interior design, she loves the fine details in creating new things—starting with good design first and foremost. In addition to serving as the Social Engagement Coordinator and a Crop & Create educator for Scrapbook & Cards Today, Meghann is also the design team and classroom coordinator for Elle’s Studio.

Where is the first place you look for inspiration?

I look to my Instagram feed first! I only follow papercrafting and home decor accounts that TRULY inspire me, so that when I have a minute to look through my feed. I know I will see something that sparks my desire to sit down and create.

What is your go-to, must have tool?

It’s not a physical tool, but a software tool! I use Adobe Photoshop Elements daily to add journaling to my pages, edit my photos for layouts, as well as my layout photos. I couldn’t live without this important piece of software!

If you had an extra half hour in the day, what would you do?

If I had 30 minutes all to myself, without laundry or dishes to do, I would sit and read a book! It happens rarely, and I usually stay up way too late to get in just a few more pages.

When did you start papercrafting and how did it come about?

I started paper crafting by attending Stampin’ Up! workshops with my mom when I was a teenager. I still love stamping and making cards. I created my first scrapbook about my senior year in high school when I was 18, complete with shaped photos and all of the stickers. Then, a few years later in 2008.1 decided to create a mini album about our honeymoon in Italy and that was that. I was hooked on scrapbooking, and have been doing it ever since.

At which store would you like to max out your credit card?

I would probably max out my credit card at a home store, like Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel or Home Goods. I love browsing for new pieces for our home, and since my background is in interior design, it’s kind of my “thing.”
