Lisa Kisch is back today to share a beautiful mini-album that she created to celebrate the first year of her daughter’s life.

Here she is with her project:

My youngest turns one at the end of this month, and I decided to create a mini-book to document her first year. I like my mini-books to be super simple. I pick a design, repeat the formula throughout the book, and make the photos and journaling the stars of the show. In this case I picked one special photo from each month of Lily’s first year and printed them in 4X6. I used a Maya Road chipboard album as the base, and then chose 6 patterned papers so that facing pages would have the same design. I then added the month to each photo with letter stickers, as well as a few embellishments. I love pulling journaling directly from my blog, and I saved a ton of time by copying and pasting the text into a word document. This album came together really fast, and the last page is still empty– waiting for a photo from Lily’s first birthday later in the month.
