Hi! I’m Nathalie, originally from France, I moved to the US as a college student and now live in California with my husband and our two boys. What started simply as an intention to get my wedding photos out of shoeboxes 20 years ago has rapidly turned into an everyday obsession. I love to be immersed in the creative process, to look at others for inspiration and to be part of the amazing and supportive community of paper crafters. Even though it has progressed through time, I describe my style as mostly graphic with a special attention to color. I started with 12×12 layouts but four years ago switched to pocket scrapbooking and traveler’s notebooks. I will also occasionally make cards, mini albums and other fun creative projects. I have been designing for different manufacturers and kit companies since 2008.
Where is the first place you look for inspiration?
I often get inspired by the products themselves when I am starting a new project but I also I enjoy looking at the work of other talented crafters online. I spend a lot of time on Instagram!
What is your go-to, must have tool?
Other than the indispensable paper trimmer and adhesive, I would say my manual typewriter (a pretty Remington Ten Forty). I use it all the time for my journaling.
If you had an extra half hour in the day, what would you do?
I’d spend it at home working on a Design Team assignment, or more probably checking my Instagram feed!
At which store would you like to max out your credit card?
I am not a big spender but given unlimited cash (and time), I would probably head to the Travelocity or Kayak websites. I love visiting new places!
If you could have one super power, which would you choose?
Living far from family, I have often wished I could teleport…
