Hello, friends! We made it to Friday, and it’s a BIG weekend for us as we host Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking for over 3 thousand of our friends! Speaking of card making, our friends at Concord & 9th have new, wonderful holiday products that were created to make our card making easier, and if you’ve never used an inlay die before, you’ll definitely want to check out what they are sharing below! And don’t miss the giveaway at the end of the post, too!

Hello and happy Friday, friends! The most wonderful time of the year is on the horizon and we’re here to share some favorites from our 2024 holiday release.

We have a number of fantastic stamps, dies, stencils and even embossing folders to choose from as you plan out your holiday crafting, including four brand new inlay dies–Ornament, Tree Lot, Fa La La, and Christmas Lights

Creating cards with any of these dies is super simple! All you have to do is run the die through your machine on several 4.25” x 5.5” panels to get a variety of pieces to work with, then puzzle them back in to complete the seasonal design. Mindy Eggen, Laurie Willison, and Meghann Andrew pieced together these beautiful cards using the new Ornament Inlay Die

Inlay dies are a great choice when it comes to creating holiday cards because you can easily make multiple cards at once. Carissa Wiley, Rebecca Keppel, and Seeka designed these fun and festive cards using the Tree Lot Inlay Die, and the good news is they have plenty of leftover pieces to replicate the holiday magic.

While it’s true that one inlay die is all you need to create a complete card, adding a simple sentiment or some festive foliage can really take a design to the next level. Plus they make great shaker cards! Mindy Eggen, Laurie Willison, and Meghann Andrew each created cards with the Fa La La Inlay Die and a banner sentiment. Mindy’s sentiment came from the Jolly Holiday Greetings Dies while Laurie and Meghann chose phrases from the Festive Blooms Bundle.

Inlay dies are also a really fun way to play with color, and that might just be our favorite thing about them . . . well, that and the puzzling aspect, we’re huge puzzle fans over here at C9! Even though these cards from Carissa Wiley, Rebecca Keppel, and Seeka were all created with the Christmas Lights Inlay Die, but each one has a different feel because of the color palettes they chose.

It’s giveaway time!  Leave a comment on this post before midnight Eastern time on Wednesday, October 2nd for the chance to win a $50 Concord & 9th gift card so you can pick out your favorite inlay dies, or anything else you may have had your eye on!
