Happy Friday, all! We have had a great week here at SCT headquarters—shipping out packages for our upcoming events, preparing for more events next month, and opening up Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking to our alumni for registration! While we stay busy over here, we want to let you know about the latest and greatest products in the industry, including the new Fuse Foiling Gel, Fancy Foils Transfer Foils, and more! Let’s hear from our friends at Therm O Web, and see a lot of inspiring cards! Plus, don’t miss the giveaway at the end of the post.

Hello, SCT Friends! We are so excited to be back again to share our new February release in partnership with our friend, Gina Krupsky of Gina K. Designs. You all know Gina K. for the beautiful inks, high-quality card stock, and innovative stamps, stencils, dies and other Gina K. Designs tools she has created, including the Fuse Foiling System and companion Foil-Mates and Poly-Glaze Foiling Sheets. Therm O Web produces Gina K. Designs Fancy Foils Transfer Foils (there are now 32!) and NEW Fuse Foiling Gel, and there are even more Gina K. Designs x Therm O Web collaborations coming in 2025!
All of the projects featured here were created using the NEW Gina K. Designs Sending Flowers Card Kit, which Gina launched February 11th. If you haven’t watched her Release Party Video, you can see it here.

This gorgeous kraft card pair features new Powder Blue Fancy Foils and new Fuse Foiling Gel applied two different ways. First, Larissa stenciled both panels using Distress Oxide Inks in two shades of blue. For the card on the right, she applied Fuse Foiling Gel through the Gina K. Designs Modern Hydrangea Layering Stencil and just let it dry to create a clear, glass-like effect. Fuse Foiling Gel doesn’t dry tacky like our Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo, so you don’t have to cover it with foil. Larissa also spattered the surface with glue from a Deco Foil Adhesive Pen and pressed Fancy Foil onto the dried glue for a subtle shine.

For the card on the left, Larissa applied the gel to only certain areas of the Shimmering Roses Layering Stencil to create a shaded effect, securing her stencil with iCraft Pixie Tape to prevent shifting. Once the Fuse Foiling Gel was dry, she ran the stenciled panel and a piece of Powder Blue Fancy Foil through her Fuse Foiling System on setting #3. Powder Blue is one of several new matte Fancy Foils, with a beautiful satin finish instead of a high-shine metallic look. It’s fun to mix matte and shiny shades on a single project, too. The full tutorial is on the Therm O Web blog here.

For this card, we used Gina K. Designs Blending Brushes with Gina K. Designs Premium Dye Inks and the Shimmering Roses Layering Stencil. We used Dusty Rose ink for the first petal layer and Fuse Foiling Gel for the second petal layer. We foiled the petals Dusty Rose, another matte-finish foil, using our Fuse Foiling System. We finished our card with Dusty Rose foiled sentiments from the Gina K. Designs Flower Medley Poly-Glaze Foiling Sheets; coordinating dies are part of the Sending Flowers Card Kit.

SCT’s very own Meghann Andrew created this lovely, colourful card to celebrate the new Gina K. Designs Sending Flowers Card Kit, Fancy Foils and Fuse Foiling Gel release, choosing to highlight new Sunkissed Coral Fancy Foil, one more of the satin-finish matte foils in the Fancy Foils line. Check out Meghann’s fantastic Foiling Gel Magic with Gina K. Designs video here.

Shemaine chose the new Blue Sky Fancy Foil for her stenciled hydrangea card and foiled her Poly-Glaze sentiments with the new Black Onyx Fancy Foil. Here’s a peek at her layered stencil process. You can find the full tutorial for two versions of this card on our blog here.

Like her first kraft-and-blue Modern Hydrangea Layering Stencil card, featured above, Larissa’s white-and-coral card also features a layer of Fuse Foiling Gel, no foil, but this time she applied the gel with a small paintbrush to create texture in the wet gel. It dried clear, glossy and with a dew-like texture.

During her February Release Party video, Gina shared a stunning card featuring new Flower Medley Poly-Glaze Foiling Sheets and new Fancy Foils in Lemon Drop and Blue Sky. She also shared a tag she created matching her Fancy Foils and inks that you don’t want to miss! Remember, the coordinating dies are part of the Sending Flowers Card Kit; the kit sold out quickly, but the individual components will be available to purchase during Gina’s March release.

Jessica also foiled the Flower Medley Poly-Glaze Foiling Sheets for her card, using new Butterscotch Fancy Foil, but she placed her die-cut flowers inside a cute die-cut pocket using the Gina K. Designs Sending Flowers Stamp Set to create the denim texture. Watch a short video tutorial here.

The final two cards we’re sharing today were both made by Lisa using just one Poly-Glaze Foiling Sheet that came in the Fuse Foiling Machine Starter Kit and one sheet of new Fresh Asparagus Fancy Foil, the fourth and final matte-finish Gina K. Designs Fancy Foil. First, Lisa foiled the Poly-Glaze flourish sheet for the watering can card. Next, for the second card, she applied the leftover foil onto a gel print she had made previously. Learn her tips and tricks in the complete tutorial on our blog here.

Here’s a peek at all 12 new Gina K. Designs Fancy Foils together. Isn’t it so exciting to have new foils that match Gina K. Designs inks? We are big fans of matchy-matchy and even bigger fans of Gina K. Designs!
