The hardest part of creating masculine cards for me is the lack of stamps and dies. You can fishing but my guys are into classic cars and it is really difficult to find those.
Susan R – Spellbinders (Mindy Eggen) just came out with a great classic cars collection!
Oh wow how exciting!! I have such a hard time with the masculine colors when creating
The hardest part of creating masculine cards is finding the ephemera to add to the card, there isn’t always masculine items in ephemera packets. The items are not in male colors.
I find it hard with colors for masculine colors. The proverbial blue is just about one color that seems appropriate!
Finding good sentiments. I can usually find stamps and dies, but sentiments are a struggle.
These cards are great! The hardest part making masculine cards is making sure I’m not using stamps/dies and sentiments that look too “girly”. I have a lot of flowers and scripty sentiments, and I need to get more masculine/modern styles, too :)
Love TE products !! This card is so beautiful.
Finding the right supplies is the hardest part of creating masculine cards for me!
The most difficult thing about making masculine cards is that there is not a huge selection of ephemera.
The hardest part is finding something for the guys who don’t really have hobbies. For ladies, the generic flower card always works.
I think I’m just drawn to feminine products, or maybe I just need to invest in more “guy” stuff! I’ve created a primary-color card before, and then I couldn’t find any stars or masculine embellishments. I did have a lot of flowers and hearts, though. ;-)
I always love to use glitter and that’s not typically for masculine cards!
Well, they say sawdust is man glitter. I have used it and sandpaper on cards for guys.
I don’t make many masculine cards but these are inspiring me to try! Wonderful release!
I think the hardest part of making making masculine cards is finding stamps to create them.
Amazing cards!! The hardest part of creating masculine cards is finding versatile stamps and die sets.
For me it is color combinations. Is red and blue too “kid”? Is tan and teal too “interior decorating”? Hard to decide. Thanks for the ideas and for the opportunity to win.
Great card ideas. I find masculine cards hard to make because I mostly buy feminine floral items. Must be time I invested in other themes.
I find it difficult to balance too plain and boring with too decorative when I make masculine cards. My husband and son-in-laws are all no frills kind of guys, so I have to dial down my habit of going too feminine.
I struggle with colours and making sure they aren’t too juvenile.
I don’t really have a problem with masculine cards. My husband has told me several times; “Guys like flowers too!” Really anything leafy, green and natural is good. I also like geometric patterns in rich jewel tones.
The hardest part of creating a masculine card for my brood is to not put pink, flowers, and glitter on it! Ha!
I think the hardest part of making masculine cards is my lack of enthusiasm. LOL I just find them hard to make. Thanks for another chance to win. :D
Cute Cards…
I think masculine color scheme can be challenging, finding image or theme is harder
I have trouble making masculine cards because the men I send cards to enjoy gardening. Usually gardening stamps have cute bunnies and mice, so they are more cutsey. I usually just end up making a card with my favorite masculine combo Navy Silver and white in a block design.
It’s hard for me to omit pretty, girly things—flowers, pink, sparkle, and shine. What embellishments work besides stars?
Masculine cards can be so tricky! These are great!
Wonderful cards!
The hardest part of creating masculine cards for me is not having the right kind of designs. I tend to buy what I like and not necessarily with the cards in mind that I need to make.
I guess the hardest part for me is the inspiration part. It takes me a beat to figure out what direction to take a masculine card.
I find it hard to make adult masculine cards – it’s hard not making them more childish!! lol
Hardest part is finding varied masculine stamp images to use.
The hardest part of creating masculine cards is what to add as extra layers and details.
The hardest part of masculine cards is having a focal image the is masculine. Not too much in my stash.
The hardest part for me is finding an appropriate focal image.
The hardest part is finding images and papers that are masculine in nature but not cars, sports or fishing.
The hardest part for me is thinking of a theme. I find making masculine cards a challenge.
I’m not sure what design and products to use for masculine cards. I feel like everything I pick is too girly for a guy.
I really don’t have many crafting supplies that are geared toward men.
I have fewer male related stamps, but it is probably the sentiments that are the most challenging. Swirly, thin or overly cheery just don’t seem manly, (and I avoid any sentiment that references drinking).
Sometimes it is just too hard to find a sentiment or die-cut that fits the man you are making the card for. I like the ideas that are being shown that were made with the Kraft paper. I need to remember to try using that paper on my next masculine card.
This is such great inspiration! Finding good sentiments I find difficult and I have to take more time to find the right colors to use!
One of the hardest things for me is that I love typically feminine colors so I must switch my color palette.
Selecting appropriate non-girly supplies from my small stash is the difficult part for me.
I find it difficult to try and not over do the card with layering and embellishments.
Masculine cards are always a challenge for me. These products and the inspiration shared will help. Thank you TE!
I love florals and cutesy so deviating from that is hard for me! My husband often gets cute scenes anyways!
Such fabulous inspiration! I think the hardest part about creating masculine cards is the lack of masculine products and inspiration. And finding ways to use the products I have with a masculine twist.
Many of the men that I create cards for do not have many hobbies, so finding stamps, die cuts and paper can be challenging.
I have a hard time choosing colors and finding masculine stamps to use
I find ireally hard to come up with masculine images
I love these Father’s Day Cards. Great colours, great designs.
