Colorful cardmaking doesn’t have to be complicated—and Mirisha Dean shows just how approachable it can be in a NEW video tutorial!
In this card project, Mirisha uses heat embossing and Distress Oxide inks to create a vibrant rainbow background with an emboss-resist effect. By blending the inks and buffing away the color from the embossed areas, the design shines with both color and texture. A vellum-backed sentiment, added dimension, and a few flat sequins give the card a polished finish while keeping it simple and easy to recreate.
This cheerful Valentine’s Day card is a perfect reminder that playing with color can be both fun and rewarding—and doesn’t require complicated steps.
