Welcome back to the SCT blog for our 12:00 pm challenge! Have you been busy today checking out all the World Card Making Day inspiration? In case you missed our first World Card Making Day colour challenge with Cathy Z., be sure to check that out HERE.
During this hour, we have another challenge for you from our friend Latisha Yoast, and we think you’ll like her card “beary” much!
……………………..
Supplies | Cardstock, ink & twine: Lawn Fawn; Patterned Pape & stickers: Doodlebug Design; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
Hello friends! Latisha here with your next WCMD challenge: use patterned paper on your card. Double points if you use more than one patterned paper and wrap it with a bow as Latisha did!
The easiest way to create a card with patterned paper is to use a collection. This card has two different patterned papers on it from the Doodlebug Design Pumpkin Spice collection. Look closely at the kraft print and you can see images on it. The print is muted just enough so that I can stamp on it as well.
I like to layer the patterns on top of each other for dimension. After stamping the sentiments onto the muted kraft print, I adhered the panel using foam adhesive and added twine for a final embellishment.
Happy World Card Making Day friends! Take up this challenge for a chance to win a fun prize! I cannot wait to see what you create, and be sure to tag @sctmagazine on social media so we can see your cards!

Doodlebug Designs always make me smile and I love this adorable card. I do have a question though. The challenge says it’s for patterned paper, but in the specifications, it refers to a color challenge. So which is it? Thanks
So adorable! I don’t use pp enough on my cards, which I should, especially if it looks this cute! :)
