Hello, friends! It’s Andrea Lake here with you today sharing a couple of fall layouts I made using the Vintage Orchard Page Kit by 49 and Market. As a scrapbooker who loves coming up with my page designs, I also love and appreciate the fact that companies like 49 and Market are coming up with these kits. I was able to sit down, light a candle, play my favorite Disney movie in the background, and just have fun following the simple instructions to complete my pages. I did add a few embellishments that weren’t part of the kit, but for the most part, I simply relaxed while creating beautiful pages.

Supplies | 49 and Market Vintage Orchard Collection: Page Kit, Chipboard words, Chipboard Set, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Runner Grand, Crafty Foam Tape, 3D Foam Squares, 3D Foam Strips; Scrapbook.com: Pink Storage Envelopes; Other: Tim Holtz Scissors, My Sweet Petunia Precision Glue Press

The Page Kits come with everything you need to create four 12×12 pages with various designs. All the pieces are laser cut, and they come all together in 12 x 12″ sheets. You have to separate them from the sheets, and also keep the pieces that go on each page together. I used the big storage envelopes by Scrapbook.com to keep each set of embellishments with their 12 x 12″ background piece to make it easier to find the pieces I needed to work on each page.

I decided to print my photos in black and white, to allow the color of the page and embellishments to shine. I created a vertical layout with three 4 x 3″ photos of my mother-in-law and our dog Astro in our backyard. We brought her home to celebrate her birthday in early September, and this was the first time she went to our backyard and enjoyed some outside time with the dogs. It was such a precious moment. As I was putting this page together without having to come up with a design of my own, I was able to reflect a little bit more on the day and the memories we created while she was home with us. That is definitely another reason to like these kits.

For the second page, I opted for a layout with all different size photos and included only three photos instead of four. I used the top left spot to write my journaling. These photos are from the first time my parents and sister visited me and my husband after we moved to the States in 2016. We had a wonderful time.

I have the other two pages and sets of embellishments ready to put together after my mom comes to visit me in November for a few days. I really like this Vintage Orchard page kit: the colors, textures, and embellishments are perfect for the season. I will make sure to print my photos once I have them, and pick a chilly night to sit by the fire and put my layouts together while I watch a Holiday movie and drink a delicious hot apple cider.

I hope this post inspires you to give the Page Kits from 49 and Market a try. I loved working with this set, and I’ll definitely be adding this product to my wishlist for each collection that includes them. I cannot wait to see what you create!
