Sad, but I don’t receive any handmade cards. Such a great cause, I will need to look into my stash and send some over. Thanks Scrapbook.com for putting this together and to you and SCT for a great giveaway!
My best handmade card was from my friend Ineke! She makes cute Sesame Street characters!
I am not usually on the receiving end of many homemade cards. I do have 1 friend however that will do fancy card classes and gift me those cards. The double slider card was exceptional!
the best homemade card I ever received was nothing special but was made by my son when he was young for a special birthday of mine. It was really needed at the time and will be a special card with special memories that I will always have.
My friend that makes cards and teaches a card class I attend, gave me two purple cards with butterflies and flowers, knowing those are some of my favorite things. Was definitely my color pallette.
As an English teacher, I tell my students that I don’t have a favorite book, the same would be true of any handmade cards I receive. I receive a few cards from a few close friends, seriously if you take the time to make me a card, I love it. I am not going to pick favorite (but maybe it is the one that I just received, of course that will change the next time I receive a card). What a great idea. I will check my stash and see what I have to donate for this project
The best handmade card I received was from my dear friend Sabina. It was a hot air ballon card with clouds and the color scheme was greys and peach’s so tranquil!!
I’m the sole scrapbooker in my family. So when I received a card from my daughter it was very special. She likes to dabble in watercoloring. She watercolored a panel then wrote a note on the inside. Nothing fancy but priceless to me.
Love these cards! Love the “cards for kindness” program! My mother always sends me such heartfelt cards that mean a lot to me, but the best handmade card I received was from a Scrapbooking Friend at a retreat. It was a fun, cheery, shaker card that was such a surprise. It was waiting at my table when I arrived the next morning. VERY SWEET!
I received a handmade get well card a couple of years ago from a friend in Japan. I have it up on my office bookshelf.
The best handmade card that I ever received was from my boys for Mother’s Day. They would raid my craftroom to make me a card every year.
The best handmade card that I received was a Mother’s Day card from my daughter. I keep it on display as a daily reminder of how much love we have for each other.
My best handmade card came from my friend Maureen who makes beautiful cards! It was a Christmas card in my favorite colors and motifs. I loved it!
My grandkids made me a card when we were on a family vay-cay. It was to say ‘thanks’ for co-ordinated hoodies I had got them. They each drew a picture inside the card with their name printed & had decorated the front with various flowers. It is still hanging on my frig years later! Thanks for the chance to win!! ????????✨
I participate in a card group with 3 other crafty ladies. Each month we send each other handmade cards that are blank inside so we can send them on to others
I don’t really receive any handmade cards from adult crafters but I do get homemade cards from my students every year! I teach grade one and these are my favourite cards to get! Always heartfelt and creative!!!!! Cards for Kindness is such a great inititative. Thanks also for the chance to win!
Handmade cards are the best. I don’t have one handmade card that is best. Any card that someone made is the best, as they took the time to be creative and inspire. I just joined Cards for Kindness. Excited to show the world that a little kindness to others is the best medicine.
I enjoy both giving and receiving hand made cards. Each one I receive is special to because I know the sender put their heart into making it. I try to make and send around 30 each month to family, church family and friends and Facebook friends. It brings me joy. Thank you for this wonderful giveaway opportunity.
Best handmade card I’ve received was from my grandson. He would “help” me with cards sometimes and I gave him some supplies to make some when he was at his house for his friends. But he made my birthday card instead. Most treasured.
I have two handmade cards that are my favorites…one is from Jennifer McGuire and the other one is from Nichol Sphor. They both have a special spot displayed in my craft room.
The best handmade cards I have ever received are from my boys. I have every card and picture they’ve ever given me since they were very little! The best ones are hanging on the wall above my crafting desk. My youngest turns 23 today!
The Mothers day cards my children sent me. All are cherished and loved.
I don’t receive handmade cards but do send them occasionally. Love the sunflowers. Thanks!
I learned of this, and will participate as a volunteer card-maker. I also shared it with my sister, who works at a tiered level care facility as the events coordinator. She was very interested in connecting to be able to receive donated cards for their residents and staff. Win-win!
Best card I’ve ever received was a thank you card from my friend, thanking ME for making and sending her cards during her treatments.
Unfortunately I don’t have crafty friends. So handmade cards are not something i receive, but i do enjoy sending them!
I’ve only ever received handmade cards from my sister. I don’t think I could pick one as a favorite! Knowing that she took the time to create something especially for me makes me smile every time. Thank you for the opportunity to win!
These cards are great, and I love this wonderful cause! I think all the handmade cards I’ve received are the best! They’re just so special to receive in the mail :)
I’m blessed to have quite a few cardmaking friends & relatives so it’s impossible to choose the best. I love them all. Being a card maker myself, I know the time & thought that went into the cards.
The best handmade card that I ever received was made by my daughter when she was in early elementary school. She “borrowed” my stamping stuff and created a birthday card for me. I can tell that she had watched me make cards and used some of the techniques I used. They do watch us!!!
I have a couple of friends who have given me darling cards they’ve made!
I have two “best” handmade cards that I received a couple of different Christmases from a lady who does the most amazing cards. They are just beautiful. Plus of course, lots of handmade cards from a couple of children that are in my life. They are so cute, and I have received so many of them over the years. The cards themselves aren’t what is so precious but the inside texts and statements of love and gratitude are so very special.
Probably my most favorite handmade card was a birthday card from my sister
Thank you SCT & Scrapbook.com for all that you add to the crafting community. I have received cards from cardmakers from all over the globe. The one that surprised me was from Allison Cope Designs depicting a wonderful memory of my stay in Hawaii many many years ago.
The best handmade cards I received were from my little kids. Priceless :)
The best handmade card that I have ever received was one from my brother Paul!!!
I have a few that I take out and put on my fridge every year for my birthday from a woman named Linda, who lives in Australia. She is the most incredible colorer and they are all 5×7 or larger with flowers! Just stunning!
The best handmade card I received was from my husband. He’s not a crafter but put together a card that was amazing! I was really surprised and touched!
The best handmade card I received was for my 50th. A friend, who has now passed away from cancer, made me a lovely pop up card with photos.
The best handmade card was honestly from my kids. They used my stamp supplies as I helped them. Together we made a card and it was for someone very special. They decided that special person was ME!
My daughter makes me beautiful cards for Mother’s Day and my birthday
My grands enjoy making their little handmade cards, always fun to get one from them!
My daughter-in-love makes lovely handmade cards. She gave me a beautiful shaped card featuring strawberries and daisies for my birthday!
Without doubt my favorite card came from a former patient, they were vacationing in our area when she was severely injured in a boating accident. She improved, they went home and at Christmas a card addressed to “Nurse Sharon” ICU was sent to the hospital. It was a stamped and watercolored card and the most meaningful gift I have ever received. I treasure that card and still have it many years later.
Reminds me how important that LITTLE touch can mean to someone.
The Best card I ever received was a Christmas card from a sweet friend in Switzerland, it was colored so beautifully it looked like a painting.
I’ve received a couple of hand made cards from other crafters (if they are mailing me a prize or something that I’ve bought from them). My favorite was from my online crafty friend Lisa B. She makes some amazing backgrounds and scenes!
My favourite handmade cards have been the heartfelt ones from my children for various occasions.
I’m friends with a fair amount of talented card makers and have been a recipient of many beautiful cards but my favourites are the hand made ones my son makes for me on every birthday and Mother’s Day. They are nothing exciting to look at for the most part (many times they’re done minutes before, lol) but I still think they’re the best.
While I was getting chemo treatments, my chemo angel sent me a card every time that I returned home from a treatment. That was in 003, so I don’t remember one specific card, just a whole lot of loving care!
At Christmas I usually get 1 or 2 handmade cards. Love them! My Mom used to make the best and I’ve kept all of hers. They are precious now that she is no longer with us.
I received my own handmade card that my friend bought from me! Haha! She wanted to tell me how much she appreciated and supported me! ???? made me so touched and grateful!
