Happy Friday! We’re not quite finished with week two of our Partner Celebration, and we’ve already seen so much inspiration & new products! But, we would not be able to use any of our new stash without adhesive! Let’s hear from our adhesive partner, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, who reminds us that our adhesive doesn’t always have to be hidden! Let’s check out what they’re sharing today, and don’t miss the awesome giveaway at the end of the post. Plus, find out if you’re a winner of our week one prizes at the bottom of the post. We’ll see you tomorrow to wrap up the week!

Happy Partner Celebration 2025 to our friends at Scrapbook & Card Today Magazine! Making a unique and fun Playing Card Banner, Margie Higuchi designed this creation featuring 3D Foam Creative Sheets and Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets, along with thin metal cutting dies and press plates, to inspire everyone to think beyond just sticking items together.

A few weeks ago, we participated in a trade-only event in Las Vegas, Nevada. What better way to decorate our table with a personalized banner in a playing card format with all its shine and dimension! Using our Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets for the shine and the 3D Foam Creative Sheets for the dimension, Margie went to town with the Jack of All Trades Collection by Jaycee Gaspar with Spellbinders Paper Arts.
The ‘Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside’ technique stretches your adhesives into custom embellishments and allows you to have FUN with them. It’s so easy. In this case, we are focusing on the 3D Foam Creative Sheets and our Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets. For easy foiling, remove the top liner and place the foil (color side facing you) on the adhesive. Gently rub and remove the sheet. Reapply the foil as needed. Use other media in your stash, such as pigment powder, glitter, flock, and even embossing powder with a heat tool (it does resist heat and keeps its shape).

Here are two examples of the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside technique using the 3D Foam Creative Sheets, the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets, and thin metal cutting dies. Check out the blog post, Playing Card Banner, Arch Friendship Card, and/or HIYA Mixed Media Card, to read all the details. Maybe learn some great tips and ideas on these projects!

If card making, glue, if scrapbooking, tape and foam, especially foam squares and I like the 1mm so not adding too much bulk to albums
Tape runner all the way!
I really like using foam to give my cards more dimension. I can never have enough adhesives for all kinds of crafting!
Foam squares and runner tape
Liquid glue is my adhesive of choice. I do however use quite a bit of tearable double sided tape. It really depends on the project.
I use all kinds of different adhesives but I would say I use glue the most.
Congrats to all of the winners, how FUN! I would rate my adhesive use like this: 1) Adhesive Tape Runner 2) Liquid Glue 3) Adhesive Backed Foam Sheets
All of the above:) Depends on the project. I use liquid for cards but tape and foam for scrapbooking. Love Scrapbook Adhesives and congrats to them for being the partner of the day.
Depending on the project and the look I am going for depends on the adhesive. I use them all.
Tape the most with foam as a second
Liquid adhesive is my go-to but I LOVE all the variety that Scrapbook Adhesive has. It’s everything you could ever want and they keep coming up with more I didn’t know I needed until I saw it ♥
It depends on the project that I am doing, I use a lot of foam and tape and when I have to I will use liquid
Adhesive I use most is my tape runner! Love having various types of adhesive for projects!
I used tape runner for bigger pieces like card fronts and glue for ephemera
You never have enough glue foam tape is a must the foil sheets would be fun to try!
I use liquid glue the most but also love the tape runner.
In the past, I only used tape and foam for scrapbooking. Now that I’m also cardmaking, I use and love liquid glue, too. I probably use equal amounts of all three on a daily basis!
I probably use tape the most but I love my big rolls of thin foam tape, just a little dimension without too much bulk.
I think I use tape runner the most. But I have been using g liquid a bit more recently for small dies!
What a fun banner! I most often use liquid glue.
I mainly use liquid and foam tape for card making but use a lot of adhesive runner as well for scrapbooking.
I use a tape runner and liquid glue the most!
I usually use a tape runner for most paper projects. Would love to have this supply of adhesives from 3L!
I use both liquid and tape runner
I mostly use a tape runner but love dimension on my pages so I do use a fair amount of foam as well. And liquid glue has its place too!
I love using tape in my scrapbooking, but I also use other adhesive too!
I use my tape runner the most , closely followed by foam tape!!
I use liquid adhesive the most. I also use tape runners and foam squares depending on the project.
I use tape the most in all my paper crafting. Although starting to use liquid more often!
love all their foam diminsionals
Every kind of adhesive has its time and place. Liquid glue with a fine tip dispenser is perfect for those small embellishments, double sided tape squares for most larger items, and foam to give dimension.
I use all, but I probably use foam squares and tape the most. I love the 3D effect they add to cards!
I use liquid adhesive most, but foam is right behind it…very close second.
I use liquid glue the most just because it gives me some extra wiggle time!
Congrats to all the winners!
Liquid glue is definitely my most used adhesive but I use tape runner, and foam adhesive in all shapes and thicknesses!
I use lots of glue…and throw in some foam squares to add dimension to my projects!
I use a mix of all, but liquid glue usually gives me the most ‘wiggle room’ for my cardmaking projects. Thank you for this giveaway.
I use double-sided tape most frequently!
Tape runner for cards and liquid adhesive for scrapbooking
I use tape runners most of the time, but liquid glue for small or detail pieces.
I use tear tape and thin 3D foam dots/squared the most. I mail a lot of my cards and the thin pop dots don’t add too much bulk to the envelope but still give that raised look that I like. Thanks for a chance to win!
I use both tape and glue the most, but I also love using pop up adhesive for depth.
I use a tape runner the most often.
Mostly, a tape runner. But I also love my foam adhesive.
Love these techniques! I use liquid glue the most followed by foam tape.
I love learning new techniques! Thank you!
Ack! How could I possibly decide! I use all 3 regularly! I suppose liquid glue because of its versatility.
I use liquid adhesive mist and lots of foam too!
I mostly use glue, but also use tape runner and foam tape
My number one used adhesive is glue but foam tape is a very close second! I love all the different heights, shapes and widths that are now available!
