We use to camp in the BC mountains… so the natural hot springs were my fav part… no showers for days but thank goodness for those springs! Ha ha
Camping is so relaxing … I love sitting by a campfire at night with the stars shining overhead, and waking up to fresh air is so invigorating! Thanks so much for the chance to win this amazing prize from PhotoPlay – LOVE THIS COMPANY!!!!
Would love to win this prize package! I checked out their website and they have fabulous paper product that I have never seen before! Shall like and follow on facebook! My favourite experience for camping is being in the mountains and just breathing in the fresh air and the scent from all of the pine trees! Thanks for the chance to win!
Favorite part of camping is cooking by the campfire.
I was born on DEC. 7th and our family camped sooo much that my parents had me camping by Dec. 12th of that year. LOL Every holiday I can remember camping. Easter we would have a whole campground to look for easter eggs. It was always a blast! My favorite part of camping is all the wonderful , kind people you meet. I wouldn’t give up camping for anything. I am now taking my grandkids camping. LOVE IT!
If I don’t win…I will definitely be purchasing both of these sets! We love to camp. We have a pop-up and love it. We also have two black labs…so Lakeside is a must have!! My favorite thing about camping is being outside, relaxing, and hanging out with friends and family.
Wow! Can’t wait to read for the first time your stunning magazine!!!
In the meantime, fingers crossed! I love so much this amazing kit!!! My favorite thing about camping is sleeping under the stars, completely surrounded by nature!!!
We used to camp every Summer at the same campground! From Memorial Day until Labor Day we were at camp. My favorite part was sleeping in the chaise lounge chair under the stars! As an adult, on hot nights I will sleep in our backyard in a chaise lounge and remember those hot Summer nights as a kid! We Are already passing this on to our grandchildren! TFS!
We camped out in a fire lookout with family, it was so nice to see the moon, and the sunrise, with good company. Nice to be away from the craziness of in town life.
Enjoying freshly harvested oysters after BBQing them while camping on Vancouver Island.
Thank you SCT and Photoplay Paper for the opportunity to win!
We were camping int eh smokey mountains with my Grandparents, my bother and I had gone for a walk along and a path and came upon two bear cubs. We said “How cute!” and then quickly turned around and left. We had no desire to meat mama bear!
My favourite part of camping is being with my family in a no-wifi environment!!!
My favourite part of camping is sitting by the fire with my family and roasting marshmallows and seeing my daughters face all messy with smores.
My favorite camping memories are the funny little things that happen – waking up to a kangaroo rat stealing my donut in Death Valley, camping in a blizzard in the Grand Canyon while my boyfriend slept in the men’s room, waking up to some animals trying to lay down on our tent in Alaska and thinking it was bears but it was cows! These are the things you never forget!
On halloween night we build a fire in the
portable firepit. We set it in the
driveway and sit around it while passing
out our candy.
Looks like a fun collection.
thanks.
What a fun giveaway this is and so outdoorsy. Campfires bring back many memories and laughter. Thank you for this chance to win.
My favorite part is just getting away from it all and having so much time to just hang out and talk and do things together.
The best part of camping is being with our grandchildren and being able to scrapbook it all. 1 album for each of the kids and 1 for me. 4 in total and soon to be 5. Thanks for the chance to win
The fondest camping memory for me was a trip to Yosemite my family took when I was about 8.
Love the Campfire set. Best part these days is not having to sleep in a tent – love my minicamper van.
Awesome giveaway from Photo Play. Love Nature related crafting items.
Best thing about camping is snuggling up by the campfire and reminiscing.
Thanks for sharing!
I looove camping ! As a kid our camper had a tin roof, so I loved it when it rained….. my mom , not so much…. hehe !! Still love it today, relaxing & making memories with my family. Thanks for the chance to win ! ?
Photo Play FB page has been “LIKED.”
Camping in general, for me anyway, is a simple time to get away and breathe, reflect, enjoy nature and live more in the moment. I love the moments when we “catch” nature at its’ finest. Bald Eagles, Elk, Mule Deer, or getting a special visitor stopping by during the night who opens our cooler and STEALS 5 pounds of sliced ham! Yes, it really happened! Evidence of little RACOON hand & footprints were all over our cooler the next morning! The little thieves not only opened a big cooler, but also were able to open a sealed RUBBERMAID container to get to the ham! A seriously funny memory, we will never forget!
Drinking wine around the camp fire after my kids have fallen asleep
Is this the collection featured earlier in the week? Because it’s awesome! I would love to get my hands on this. I’ve actually been scoping my fave scrapbook stores for another Photo Play collection coming out this month, Band Geek. Can’t wait to get it! My son is in the marching band so…… as for this collection, it totally brings me back to when we used to go camping as a family when I was young. The entire family….grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, cousins…. in upstate New York, Fair Haven. I miss it so much. It’s where I first learned how to fish. Nothing like the aroma of waking up to bacon and eggs, cooking in a cast iron skillet over an open fire in the woods! Wonderful memories!
Probably my favorite camping memory is when my mom & I went to Grand Tetons National Park in Wyoming. Even though it rained almost the entire time we were there (we heard later that the rain was lasting even further into the year than usual!), we had perfect weather for the day we went to Yellowstone! We were afraid the roads might ice over that evening when the temperatures dipped again (yes, even in June), so planned to leave around 3:00 p.m. But the sun dried the roads, so we were able to stay a little longer before heading back to our campsite. We still ran all over, but were able to catch a glimpse of Old Faithful gushing, see a spot where Thomas Moran had painted, and go to the Grand Prismatic Spring. Despite the rain–or maybe partly because of it–it was certainly a memorable trip! Would love to be able to scrap those photos with this collection! Thanks for the chance to win! :) ~ Andrea
This is such a fun collection and is something I would love to win. We have gone on two camping trips already this year, with more planned for the summer. My favorite part of camping is cooking hot dogs over the fire, and then making s’mores with my two little girls. Thanks for the chance to win.
I love this collection and it’s colors! Camping, fire and family, an awesome way to spend a vacation!
Camping with our two year old granddaughter last fall – her first taste of smores!
What a fun collection and one that is perfect for summer camping and hiking trips. The animal images are good for any time of year and makes this one even more versatile. Thank you for the chance to win and for sharing all these products with us. My favorite part of camping is just being outdoors in nature.
Simple pleasures sitting around a campfire listening to only the sounds of nature. Bonnecho park was amazing we had a great time last summer looking forward to this year
My favorite part of camping…..hmmmm That would be when all four of my kids and their families (especially my Grandchildren) and us all rent cottages together the same week every year. We have a Fishing Derby with a trophy, Bingo games, board games, horseshoes, minute to win it games, campfires and of course our Friday night potluck dinners. I love the squeals of laughter from the children to the crazy conversations with the adults and of course the competitions. Yay for summers and campfires :)
What adorable images! So many creative possibilities with the generous prize package.
I love being around the fire when it cools off at night.
i love making s’mores and telling campfire stories!!! really loving these photoplay collections! TFS!
Looks like a great
collection! I love
the peace and quiet
when out camping.
Carla from Utah
My favourite camping memory is waking up in Bnaff National Park and finding snow on the ground in July!!
I love this collection!!! I live along Lake Erie and have many pictures and memories from the lakeshore!!! Camping was my favorite family activity until back surgeries messed me up. So, this pad, especially would get totally used in a planned Family Camping Scrapbook that I want to make for my son. He is getting ready to enlist into the Airforce and move far away, so the scrapbook will make a great goodbye gift. I could use the lakeside for a scrapbook to keep here with me. So many of our camping trips show my son grow from boy to man.
I haven’t camped out very often but I did once with my three girls – in the backyard of the aunt’s cottage by the lake. A huge thunderstorm was predicted but my girls were no scared of storms and insisted on staying in the tent. Storms over Lake Ontario are HUGE storms and after the first few bolts of lightning and thunder they, and the dog, were more than ready to get to the cottage where my aunt was having a fit that we were even out in it. This was about 33 years ago and they still talk about it….especially the part where we were too slow getting the zipper undone and the dog found a small rip in the tent and made it bigger squeezing out of it. End of that tent!
My favorite memory was watching my son try to catch his first fish. The funniest part was watching him try to put a worm on the hook…he must have tried 10x and finally got it on (he would not let us help), then when he got to cast, the line got stuck in a tree. By the time we got it unstuck, the worm had come off the hook. He got so mad!!! But, he didnt give up, he went over, put the worm on, first try, cast his line into the water, and 5 minutes later, actually cought a nice sized bluegil.
Loving their new collections–can use either one with the multitude of photos I have of my gang through the many years of camping.
Yeah, I’m going to have to say the roasted marshmallows, too. I’m not much of a fan of camping. I love hiking in the mountains, I just prefer to come back to a soft hotel bed and a hot shower! Thanks for the opportunity to win.
I LOVE CAMPING. I prefer to camp in a tent. I love the smell of the air in the woods and all that nature is a like a drug.
When my daughters were in middle school we owned a pop up camper. We lots of fun for a few years going to various state parks in PA and Upstate NY. The one trip I remember most was going to the Finger Lakes area of NY. We hiked all the waterfalls around there and went up the gorge at Watkins Glen. The whole area was breathtaking. Thanks for the walk down memory lane and for the chance to win.
My favorite camping memory is going with girl scouts when I was in third grade. I’m 63 now and remember it like yesterday!
I live all of those beautiful pattern papers! Thanks for the chance!
Love photo play and that campfire smell on your clothes and kids falling asleep after dark from all the fresh air
My favourite part of camping is the campfire! Popping jiffy pop makes the great outdoors smell like a movie theatre :) Yum! Thanks for the chance to win Photoplay’s Campfire and Lakeside collections! What an amazing giveaway.
My favorite part of camping is roasting marshmallows & and walking down to the lake to fish.
