Market Day: A One-Day Cardmaking Event!

Welcome to Market Day!
Step into the charm of a fresh outdoor market with our newest one-day cardmaking event, Market Day. This event is bursting with inspiration from all your favourite market finds: flowers, baskets, bicycles, bakery finds, flower pots, seeds, fruits, veggies, and so much more! In this event, you will create delightful cards that celebrate the simple joys of market life—think bright blooms, rustic charm, and plenty of fresh-picked creativity!
Join cardmaking experts Cathy Zielske, Meghann Andrew, Mirisha Dean and special guest Jennifer McGuire for an inspiring and beautiful day of cardmaking. Not only will you create gorgeous cards, but you’ll also learn from these talented experts along the way!
Whether you are drawn to the beauty of florals, the playfulness of bikes, sweet sentiments or the abundance of baskets filled with goodies, this event will provide you with projects that feel like a sunny stroll through the market.
Join us for a day of crafting fun, fresh designs, and a little touch of whimsy. You will leave with gorgeous handmade cards and plenty of inspiration for future projects!
Details:
On February 7th, 2026, each of our instructors will guide you through their card designs in LIVE 2-hour classes hosted on YouTube, allowing you to try different techniques and create in three different styles unique to these talented instructors. Not available to take the classes live? No worries! You’ll have access to them anytime via the private class links. Our three class instructors will also share full PDF instructions, too. We will conclude our day with a fantastic presentation from Jennifer McGuire, who will create several additional cards using this Market Day kit.
In your Market Day kit, you’ll receive:
- a 6×8 photopolymer stamp set
- a large package of dies
- stencils
- a storage pouch
- white cardstock
- specialty cardstock
- ….and a surprise or two!
Supplies needed:
Students will need a standard die-cut machine, a range of ink colours, coloured cardstock, blending tools, and general cardmaking supplies. A stamp positioner tool is also encouraged. Four weeks before the class date, a complete student supply list, including the cardstock and ink colours the instructors will use, will be released.
As a class participant, you’ll also have access to a private Facebook group where you can join other classmates from around the world to get excited about the class, share ideas, inspire one another, and share your finished cards. A link to the Facebook Group will be on your SCT order confirmation. We will open the Facebook Group on January 7, 2026.
