Good morning! It’s day 2 of our Let It Snow kit reveal and today kit curator, Lisa Dickinson, is here sharing three of the beautiful projects she created along with some fun answers to the questions we asked each of our kit designers! Remember, if you are loving this exclusive and limited edition kit, it will be on sale this Friday at 2:00 pm ET.

Family Love – double page layout

Peace – single page layout

Merry Christmas card

With gorgeous papers and embellishments from Crate Paper’s Snowflake collection, Pink Paislee’s Together for Christmas collection, Bazzill, Carta Bella, an exclusive 4×6 stamp set and more, this kit won’t last long!

We asked Lisa some questions about working with this kit and here’s what she had to say…

What was your favorite product in the kit and why?

I was immediately drawn to the acrylic titles and the pretty, slightly opaque softness they have. I used them both on my layouts and love the icy texture they give to a page!

Did you use any item in a unique or unexpected way?

The simple vines included in the Kit Cut files made a perfect wreath when clustered together in a circle. I used this seasonal shape to frame a holiday photo on my single-page layout.

Do you tend to scrap winter events/holidays with traditional colors & themes or do you prefer more unconventional products?

I have a mental block with using traditional red and green together for Christmas layouts, so I tend to mix in other colors like aqua, navy or pink to soften the typical holiday color combo. I love that the papers in this kit mixed in lots of winter colors, all perfect for holiday scrapping!

Any tips for finding time to create during the busy holiday season?

I rarely have to time to scrap during the holidays, so I focus my creative energy on festive tasks like gift wrapping, decorating, and cardmaking instead. I do try to snap lots of photos, though, so that when the holidays are over, I’ll have plenty of pictures ready to create with!

Thank you, Lisa, for curating a beautiful kit this season! Join us tomorrow to see the amazing artwork Jen Gallacher created with her Let It Snow kit!
