Good morning! It’s Day 10 of our “12 Days of Holiday Giving” event! We certainly don’t have 10 lords a leapin’ but so much more! Today we are excited to have design team member Latisha Yoast joining us and another amazing prize package with not one, not two but three prizes! Are you ready? Let’s get started…

“On the 10th day of SCT’s 12 Days of Holiday Giving, SCT shared with me….a beautiful project from designer Latisha Yoast and a fabulous prize package from Pebbles, American Crafts and Scrapbook.com!”

“Hello friends! The projects being shared today are all about holiday gift wrap. Its so fun using paper crafting tools and supplies, on gifts. Not only is it a way to personalize a present, but most likely are saving money as well, by using up what you have in your stash.

The papers, stickers and tags are from the Holly Jolly and Cedar & Pine collections from Close To My Heart. When using a paper collection, everything is going to coordinate perfectly. Which is so nice, since it takes the guess work out of trying to match colors.

This gift was wrapped in a solid red paper. A strip of burlap trim was added for texture. A pretty bow is always a classic touch, which doubled as something the tag to hang from. The tag is from the CTMH Cedar & Pine Compliments, which is a sheet of coordinating printed die-cuts. I used trim from Lawn Fawn to attach the tag.

I like to keep Kraft bags in my craft room for whenever I need to put together a quick gift. The red & white patterned paper was adhered to the bottom of the bag, followed by a strip of black cardstock. Three “ho” stickers to spell out “ho, ho, ho” were adhered vertically to the center of the bag. To finish a bow was added to the handle with a tag die cut.

Lets talk about the WeR Memory Keepers punch boards for a minute.  Do you own, or have used them before? I do not know the engineer behind them, but every time I get a new one, I think “this is genius”. If you are someone who likes to make bags, tags, envelopes, pillow boxes etc… I highly recommend you try these out. These punches are very user friendly.

For this black bag, the WeR Memory Keepers Gift Bag punch board was used. It measured 9″ and used the L setting. Once the bag was adhered together, it was decorated with stickers & ribbon.

This green bag was also created using the gift bag punch board. Decorated with stickers and a premade striped ribbon bow, that comes with adhesive on the back for easy placement.

The long pillow box was created with patterned paper and the WeR Memory Keepers pillow box punch board. This punch board is extremely user friendly and allows you to create pillow boxes from 3-12 inches in length. Foam adhesive was placed on the back of the sticker for depth, and then attached with twine to the satin black bow. There is something about a satin bow that makes me swoon!

I encourage all of you to pull out your dies, punches, ribbon and holiday paper collections and see what you can use for gift wrap. It is surprising at what we all have to make gifts shine and sparkle.” ~ Latisha Yoast
