Good morning! We’re so glad you could join us for Day 3 of our annual 12 Days of Holiday Giving event! If you are just joining us for the first time, welcome! Be sure to click HERE to start at the beginning and to see the amazing prize package we shared on Day 1.

Today we are excited to have design team member Jill Dewey Hawkins joining us and a fun prize package too! Let’s get started…

“On the 3rd day of SCT’s 12 days of holiday giving, SCT shared with me….beautifully wrapped gifts from Jill Dewey Hawkins and a fabulous prize package from Lawn Fawn and Echo Park Paper!”

“There are sleigh bells ringing and all good things are wrapped and ready! Happy Holiday Season to you all– Jill here today to share a sweet little gift wrapping idea or two!

First, I got out some shipping kraft paper to stamp on. I know what you are thinking—this looks like a big to-do! BUT I promise you, it isn’t and it goes VERY quickly, believe it or not! And hopefully you believe me. J

As you can see in the above image, I just loaded up an acrylic block with lots of Lawn Fawn sentiment words & tiny images. Then I was ready to stamp, stamp, stamp. It is not difficult to keep things straight when you use the lines on the acrylic blocks. I think for this type of stamping, this is quicker than a MISTI. Pro tip: Be sure you press pretty evenly to be sure stamp edges are missed.

The best part is, you can take other small little images and load up your smaller blocks for stamping those in all the spaces the words don’t fill. Take a closer look and you can see where I did this on the wrapping paper I made.

Here’s a good look at the finished wrapping below. It turns out so stinkin’ cute it makes me glad I made it. Though I would not do this hand stamped wrapping if I was wrapping say… a pogo stick or something large. Wink!

My next task was to color all the cute yetis and their little accoutrements! I colored everything with Copic Markers and die cut everything out. AND I actually remembered to take a photo of the makers I used to share.

Aren’t they adorable? They are mostly white, *yeti* still require a “few” markers. (See what I did there? ;) )

I then die cut these little tree tags using another sweet Lawn Fawn die. I actually did not snip the last two dies apart, so I thought it would be cool to try die cutting them with the two dies still attached to each other. As you can see, the result was quite fun, as I get that little tree cut out in the center. Just something a little different!

Here’s one of the little extra tags I made:

Once I had everything all set and assembled, I tied the cutie tags on the little wrapped gifts with some festive Lawn Fawn twine.

Eeeep!! I can’t wait to gift these very soon! (Or maybe I already did because I couldn’t wait any longer.)

Here they are, all together. The hand-stamped wrapping is fantastic to be able to customize things to your own style!

Thank you for joining me here today to share some fun festive holiday tidings! This is my last SCT Post of 2019 and I wish YOU all the best in the New Year!

Take care– Jill
