It’s Day 4 of our annual “12 Days of Holiday Giving” event! Thank you for joining us! We have been loving the comments you’ve been leaving, especially those cookie comments from Day 2! Far too many of them sounded delicious! Today we are excited to have design team member Nicole Nowosad joining us and another amazing prize package from our partners. Ready? Let’s get started…
“On the 4th day of SCT’s 12 Days of Holiday Giving, SCT shared with me….a beautiful project from Nicole Nosowad and a fabulous prize package from Bo Bunny and Your Next Stamp!”
“Hey there SCT fans! Nicole here today to share with you a very simple DIY home décor sign that is great to keep for the holidays or fun to give as a gift too!
Supplies: Wood plank and Silhouette cut file– Jillibean Soup; Misc. ribbon and holiday craft supplies
A project like this makes the holidays special – whether you create a project like this for a neighbor or friend – or decide to keep it for yourself, all you need is a little time and a wood plank. I cut a pre-made design by Jillibean Soup from white adhesive vinyl and adhered it to the front of the wood plank using Transfer Tape.
Once you have your design adhered to your surface, you can leave it alone as it is – or add some extra holiday items to make your project more special! I added in a bow from some craft ribbon and then hot glued on some home décor elements.
Bring out your trusty hot glue gun and adhere a few pinecones and sprigs around your ribbon and your project is complete!
Now you have to decide if you want to give this away… or keep it for yourself ????

If I don’t win this, I will be buying it.
we usually start decorating around thanksgiving. This year we were a little late because my kids had colds.
I usually start to decorate the first week in December but am way behind this year. Still have my Fall decorations up. Trying to get Christmas packages out to people who really need them. Beautiful project Nicole! Love the chance to win that BoBunny collection and the gift certificate from YNS.
What awsome paper BoBunny always has the best designs. What a great prize package my fingers are crossed.
Wow!
Thank you for the chance to win gorgeous prizes! As an avid crafter, I have a tendency to be working on christmas projects during the year, but I usually start to slowly decorate right after halloween.
Love the vintage look!!!
Lovely! Thanks so much for this opportunity!
Oh I love the vintage touch! Its so pretty! Thanks so much for the chance to win!
I usually start decorating for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving! But crafting is another story lol
I decorate every year. Start the week after thanksgiving with the tree and I go from there.
This year, with our boys away at university, we won’t be decorating the tree till December 18 but the lights are up on the house and we also have lights in the backyard so we can see them from our family room/ kitchen in the evening. We have a tradition of giving a tree ornament each year for the boys and we really enjoy decorating the tree, it brings back lots of memories. Thank you!
We decorate the weekend of the Toronto Santa Clause Parade. Its tradition and my kiddos love it. I love it as well, just the look on their faces when the house is all decorated is just priceless!
What a cute project! Very versatile project – could do a different saying and decoration for each holiday!
All my Christmas decorating is done and just finishing up my cards to mail. I love this project and added to my “to do” list. Love Bo Bunny AND dotted papers. What a combo! Thanks for the chance to win.
This wood rondelle ALL CALM ALL IS BRIGHT is once this project is finish on time to give it to someone you cheerish. I like the idea of this sort of creation. No plank, I shall use the cardstock paper wood desing and it will be beautiful.
SCT Merci and Thank you again and again to give the oppertunity to win a beautiful plentiful giveaway.

So cute! Love this decor piece…
Yes, we do decorate for the holidays, small, glittery trees and ornaments. We haven’t put a
large tree up for a couple of years because we spend Christmas day at my daughter’s. It
really is easier for the grandkids to be in their own home!
Love the giveaways, thanks.
Cute sign. Love Bo Bunny and need to check out YNS.
Christmas decorations in my house start going up around the end of November. It is a slow process and takes 2 -3 weeks.
Thank you for a chance to win some fabulous prizes.
I usually have to wait to decorate until after Dec. 10, my husband’s birthday. This year he finally conceded and I got to decorate Dec. 1. It feels so good to have it done and get to enjoy the season.
Thank you very much for the opportunities to win awesome gifts.
No decorations as of yet BUT I have them pulled out of storage so hopefully this weekend I can get the outside of the house decorated. It has been a struggle for me personally since losing my Dad and S-I-L and F-I-L.
I start decorating after Thanksgiving! I love Christmas and by the time I finish decorating , it’s almost time to take it down ????
Thanks so much for a chance to win…
Love the prizes! Thanks for the chance to win.
We often start decorating for the holidays at the beginning of December but this year we haven’t even got the tree up yet. I am hoping we can get it up this weekend.
Thank you for the fabulous prize package BoBunny and your next stamp.
What a beautiful wall hanging! Thank you to Bo Bunny and YNS for their generosity!
Beautiful decoration! We use to always decorate on December 1st, but it seems to get earlier and earlier as my kids get older ????
I always decorate on December 1st. But this year I actually put it up on November 30th because it was a Saturday and I had time!
I love this decor item – the wood, branches, pinecones etc. I love natural! I also love that Bo Bunny collection because of it’s more natural and muted colour scheme. Thanks for the opportunity to win that and a stamps gift certificate.
This is such an elegant decor piece, a real show stopper. We don’t really decorate for Christmas, but we love to try new recipes.
Thank you for the chance to win such a wonderful gift. We decorate each year. I always plan to start November 1st, but then I procrastinate until a few days before Christmas.
I decorate right after Thanksgiving. We currently have two trees upstairs and one tiny tree downstairs in my sewing room.
Following BoBunny now as well as Heidi Swapp ❤️
What a gorgeous decoration! I definitely decorate for Christmas… EVERY ROOM! I start on Thanksgiving Day!
Since we use a real tree, it was purchased on the weekend. It was always a tradition with our kids to go cut one, but when our local provider closed, we began buying pre-cut ones, and now that’s done with the grandkiddies. SInce health constraints keep me from getting the decorations up from the basement, they came up with the tree goodies. For my hubbie it’s all about the tree. For me, it’s the garland on the stairway railing. So looking forward to getting the house done by the end of this week! :) But next year, it’s going on my husband’s calendar … garland … end of November. ;)
I was not going to decorate this year as it is a very difficult time for me as I lost both my husband and mother in December. ???? But a little voice in my head told me too and so I decided to put up my tree this week. It has added some much needed sparkle to my life! Bo Bunny is my absolute favourite scrapbooking line and would just love to win this prize package! Thank you SCT for all you do to keep me inspired from your magazine to the SCT 365 classes to the 12 Days of Christmas. ♥️????.
We usually start decorating the week after Thanksgiving and continue up until Christmas.
Wow what an amazing prize pack!!
Normally I’m already decorated for Christmas, but this year we are just doing an empty tree that only has lights and garland, as my boys and I are super sick with that nasty cold going around and none of us have any energy :(
Beautiful decoration, would bring the holiday season to any room or any friend! Thanks to your partners for the chance at a fabulous prize package.
Love it all!
Love BoBunny and Christmas papers and the stamps from Your Next Stamp. As always, thanks for the chance to win such glorious prizes.
I love this decor piece – absolutely gorgeous!! I start decorating on the Saturday after Thanksgiving since we like keeping the 2 holidays separate.
What an awesome home decor!! Love the festive look, just perfect! We don’t celebrate Christmas, but I lovvvve looking at all the decorated houses during the holidays :)
Festive home decor project! I usually start decorating for Christmas around the middle of the month.
Wow, love this decor piece. . Thanks to Bo Bunny and Your next stamp for the great giveaway. We REALLY decorate for Christmas–we start the day after Thanksgiving usually, inside and outside. My hubby has created many hand made wooden yard decorations, we have a full nativity scene, Christmas train, carolers including a dog and cat, huge wooden ornaments and of course lots of lights. Inside is also decorated with hand made decor items, and stained glass decorations created by my spouse. We’re definitely “full of it” here, as in Christmas spirit!
Love this sign, so simple yet stunning. Might have to try my hand at this. Yeah for a chance at this AWESOME Bo Bunny collection also
The sign is awesome! And the paper is very cute. I start decoration after Thanksgiving, and we put our tree up after the 10th, because we like to get through my daughter’s birthday first.
Love to make homedecor. So this is great inspiration
Wow! Great project, Nicole!
Love Bo Bunny products & Your Next Stamp is one I need to learn more about, but again, great prizes and Thank You for the chance at winning them!
beautiful!! love crafts
Beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration!
I really should start decorating the inside of our house. We have the lights outside, thanks to my husband. While inside the house, I only have our musical ceramic Christmas tree out. Target to be done today with the help of my 7 year old.
Love this. What a great giveaway. Thanks for the chance to win and Merry Christmas!
I start decorating for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving. Everything is done now except for the tree, just bought it yesterday.
This Bo Bunny set is beautiful, love the home decor project! Thanks for another great giveaway!
Of course I decorate for the holidays! But not until the day after Thanksgiving! I like to keep my holidays separate!
We typically decorate the first weekend of December. This year has been busy, so it hasn’t happened yet. Super prize pack!
This Giveaway is freaking gorgeous! Thank you for the chance.
What beautiful paper Bo Bunny! Will make our projects great with this paper. We are making our Christmas cake today. Merry Christmas.
Looking forward to the 2020 collections you will be bringing out.
We typically decorate for the holidays the Saturday after Thanksgiving in the US. That morning everyone is home so we can get it done quickly and have some fun while doing so. I’ve started calling it – making Christmas happen!
Having minimal decorations this year as hubby’s working most of it! ☹. These prizes would certainly make me smile ????????
I usually start decorating before the 1st of advent. I like to start outdoors so that the entry welcomes all visitors in time for the season. Then I take my time and decorate room by room, every year I change the color combos up so it’s always a surprise when guests visit. I save the dining room for the end as it takes the longest with the table deco which is aqua-white-gold this year.
Love the wood sign. Thank you.
I start decorating December 1st
i start the day after Thanksgiving – my husband doesn’t like to see Christmas before TG! This year it felt so late though!
I start decorating after Thanksgiving. The prize package for today I amazing.
Awe, Bo Bunny always comes out with the prettiest xmas papers. This year is especially nice.
I decorate Christmas tree the holidays, usually in the beginning of December.
We never decorate before the end of November as we wait until after hubby’s birthday. Some years we go all out and others it’s just a tiny ceramic tree (did this for several years when the old artificial tree finally broke and we could not afford a new one. A real tree is out of the question as two of us are allergic to them). This year, the outdoor lights are up but not the tree (yet). I think it will be next weekend before it goes up. It may not get decorated but it is pre-lit so that will be fine. Another great day of prizes!
two of my favorite companies – thrilled to have the chance of winning some of their products – i start decorating around Thanksgiving – so can enjoy them for longer
Thanks to BoBunny and your next stamp! I made some gifts on wood this year with my cricut but the oval is super cute! Wish I had seen that before. Saving for next year.
Gorgeous home decor piece and yes, I think I’d be keeping it for myself *grin* Wonderfully generous gifts from BoBunny and YNS; thank you! We’ll be decorating on Saturday, Dec. 14th….first time decorating for our puppy! Excited to see her response to having a tree IN the house!
