Today, we are excited to share a beautiful layout from Creative Team member Paige Evans and another fine prize package! Are you ready…let’s sing our favourite holiday song! Sing it loud! A little cheer for everyone to hear right? 🙂
On the 6th day of SCT’s 12 Days of Holiday Giving, SCT shared with me….a gorgeous layout from designer Paige Evans and a fabulous prize package from Pink Paislee and Hero Arts!”
“Hi everyone! Paige Evans here with a new layout made with my Truly Grateful collection with Pink Paislee and Christmas Icons Grid Background cut file!
I started by die cutting the cut file from textured white cardstock. I spent about three hours backing all of the little shapes and images with mostly solid colored patterned papers from Truly Grateful. By picking and choosing the colors I was able to use this mostly fall-themed collection to work even for Christmas!
Once the images were backed it still looked a little empty so I also backed the squares themselves with more solid colored patterned papers. Done! I adhered the entire cut file onto a white cardstock background using dimensional adhesive to lift it off and create shadows & dimensions. For more texture, I machine stitched around the border.
I printed five photos at about 2″ square, trimmed them out leaving white borders, and then added them into the five empty spots on the grid. I typed little captions in my favorite font called Remington Noiseless, printed it out, trimmed them up, and glued them in place at the bottom of the photos.
I added “JOY” puffy letter stickers on the center photo for a simple title. And that’s it for embellishing! The backed cut file background does all of the work for me and I feel like it’s bright and colorful enough as-is.
I hope this layout inspires you in some way! It’s so fun using themed collections for different occasions other than what they’re intended for. It’s all about the colors!

Pink Paislee love the “together for Christmas Collection” the soft woodsy nature feel to it this would be perfect and we will all be together this christmas (doesn’t happen every year due to work . Hero Art I use and own quite a few of their products always pleased with them
