Hello there SCT friends! It’s Nathalie with you today for a new day of Christmas celebrations! I am sure Christmas is looking a little bit different this year for all of us, however, this year has taught me to be thankful for each and every day and all the little things in between. What better way to celebrate this jolly season than to create beautiful packaging for your presents! I think a little Christmas cheer can only help us through this time!

This year we will be dropping packages at our families’ homes on Christmas Eve! I tend to use a specific paper for each family, simplifying gift-giving when we are all together, so imagine having a paper collection to wrap all your presents! Here is what my middle sister will be receiving from us—gift cards, chocolate, and a few others that are secrets!

Simple presents for a 25-year-old, but let me show you how the beautiful Simple Stories Simple Vintage North Pole is going to make them a WOW package!

I stuffed the mug with chocolates and wrapped it in plastic wrap. I created an origami-folded tea holder from one of the patterned papers, using it to house the gift cards in a fun way! Just a few stickers on the flap on the envelope are all you need to finish this packaging. I just tied the envelope to the mug with ribbon and it is ready to go.

I was lucky that this present comes in a premade box with a lid. So, I used one sheet of the Simple Stories Simple Vintage North Pole patterned paper to cover just the lid of the present. I also glued some ribbon just to the lid of the package, so that I can attach a tag to the top of the present. This tag was created using patterned paper, stickers, and a die cut propped up with some foam adhesive. I just love how easy this was to wrap, and the fact that she will be able to reuse the box after.

For this little parcel, I chose to completely wrap the present with patterned paper. I used a large piece of shimmer twine to wrap around the present, leaving about a 1/4” space between each twine loop, so that it created that criss-cross pattern. A bit of double-sided tape holds the twine in place at the back of the box. I created a cluster of embellishments on top of the twine; the large Santa die cuts are so beautiful they don’t need much more to bring joy to the package!

I just love how these turned out.  Having the Simple Stories Simple Vintage North Pole paper collection to work with allowed me to create these festive packages in no time and with beautiful results. Remember to share your beautiful creations with us!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, and may 2021 BE a BLESSED YEAR!

~ Nathalie
