Hello friends! It’s Latisha here with a holiday project that is super easy to create with minimal products! Using a styrofoam wreath, Lawn Fawn Let It Shine patterned paper, a Lawn Fawn Christmas tree die, pins, adhesive, and a few embellishments, you will be on your way to decking the halls!
Supplies | Patterned paper: Lawn Fawn Let it Shine; Dies: Lawn Fawn Outside In Christmas Tree Stackables; Alphabet: American Crafts; Metal hanger: Tim Holtz for Advantus; Other; Styrofoam wreath, pins, ribbon
Using all sheets of the Lawn Fawn Let It Shine patterned paper collection and the Outside In Christmas Tree Stackables, trim each sheet to 2.5 inches. You will need 6 die cuts of each of the A & B sides for a total of 72 trees.
I used sewing pins to attach each die cut to a styrofoam wreath, but if you don’t have them available, I suggest styrofoam glue or a very strong adhesive. Starting with red at the top, I folded each die cut in half and then set it in place, repeating with three trees of each print at a time to cover the foam. If this wreath is going to be set against a wall, do not add die cuts on the back, so that the wreath will lie flush with the wall. If the front and back of the wreath are going to be exposed, you will need 144 die cuts; double the original amount.
Using a Tim Holtz embellishment hanger, American Crafts Thickers, and extra patterned paper, I added the sentiment “merry” to the center of the banner to make the wreath a little more festive. I hope this project inspires you to create a beautiful home decor project of your own!
