Hello everyone! It’s Lisa Dickinson here today and I’m so excited about the 12 Days of Holiday Giving! Today I’m sharing a layout created with the newest SCT Delivered Scrapbook kit, Peppermint Express!

The SCT Delivered kits are packed with so many fun and colorful products, and I love how many projects I can create with these curated collections! This page came together using primarily scraps of the patterned papers in the Peppermint Express kit, punched into 2-inch squares to create a patchwork border!
To reinforce the look of a quilt, I added zig-zag stitching between the seams of the paper squares. This is also a great way to cover up not-so-perfect cut lines and make everything look like it lines up!
Atop some of the squares, I added small ephemera and stickers, using foam adhesive to make it pop off the background. To keep the look simplified, I tried to color-coordinate the accents with the paper square (green trees on a green background, blue snowflakes on a blue background, etc.)
A mixed title of metallic Thickers and a die-cut word from our exclusive Peppermint Express digital die cuts complete the page. If you don’t have enough letter stickers to spell out the whole title, mix it up with die cuts or a different font!

Love the layout. My kids are all grown up, but their close friendship gives me so much joy. Christmas is always special when they open their gifts to each other on Christmas Eve – this year via Zoom, but still a loving tradition.
