Hello, Jen Gallagher here with you! I’m so excited to be playing along with Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine’s 12th Birthday Celebration! We’ve been sharing birthday projects over these 12 days and giving away LOADS of fun prizes.  Today, I’m sharing this darling Mini Birthday Hats Tutorial. It features a few key supplies and makes quick work of creating darling birthday hats for your next party. Keep reading for all the instructions. Pin your favorite photos for inspiration later!

How to Create Mini Birthday Hats:

Step 1: Purchase small mini birthday hats from your favorite party supply store. I purchased these from JoAnns party section. Die cut several pinked circles from gold cardstock. Mount pre-made crepe paper circle stickers on each pinked circle.

Step 2: Die cut several leaves from white cardstock and mount on the gold pinked circles, just behind the crepe paper stickers.

Step 3: Glue the embellishment to the front of each mini birthday hat.

Step 4: Glue a pom pop to the top of each mini birthday hat.

  • Mini Hats (JoAnns)
  • Pom Poms (Hobby Lobby)
  • Pinked Circle Die (Echo Park Paper)
  • Leaf Die (Echo Park Paper)
  • Gold Cardstock (Echo Park Paper)
  • Crepe Paper Stickers (Crate Paper)
  • Adhesive (Glue Gun, and Glue Dots)
  • Die Cut Machine (Spellbinders Platinum)
