Welcome, SCT friends! It’s Dee here today, bringing you a happy and encouraging card to kick off the month! I absolutely love creating patterns with small dies, and this card is a perfect example, featuring new and previously released dies from Concord & 9th. I went with some of my favorite colors for the rainbow, but you can use different combinations depending on the occasion! Let’s get started!  Supplies | Concord & 9th – Stitched Hearts Card Front DieMagical Days DiesEveryday Sayings Dies; The Stamp Market – Raspberry cardstockMelon cardstockApple cardstockBreeze cardstock; Adhesive: Scrapbook.com Double-Sided Adhesive RollScrapbook Adhesives Foam Squares

I began by creating the base, die-cutting the Concord & 9th Stitched Hearts Card Front from white cardstock. I then die-cut the small rainbow die from the Concord & 9th Magical Days set using some of my favorite colors from The Stamp Market’s cardstock collection: Raspberry, Melon, Apple, and Breeze. Before die-cutting, I adhered double-sided tape onto each color of cardstock to make the assembly quick and easy, as this transformed the die-cuts into stickers that we can peel and stick! I cut multiple rainbows (in this case, ten) and adhered them randomly onto the Stitched Hearts Card Front, creating the effect of rainbows falling from the sky, trimming off any excess. I then die-cut the small cloud die from the same set multiple times in white (also backed with a double-sided adhesive) and adhered them at the bottom of each rainbow.

For the center of the card, I went with an encouraging sentiment from the Concord & 9th Everyday Sayings die set, die-cutting ‘I’ll be there for you’ in white as well as in each of the four colors. For a little extra fun, I inlaid each of the letters in rotating colors then adhered the completed sentiment to the center of the card with foam square adhesive. To finish, I adhered the panel onto an A2-sized, top-folding card base.  I hope this card inspires you to look a little closer at those smaller dies and create a fun pattern of your own! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
