The word “special” can be defined as something that is just a little bit unique and that is made with a specific purpose in mind. This issue’s project meets those criteria and will undoubtedly be treasured for years to come.
The moment I saw the Pasta Fagioli! Jillibean Soup collection, I knew I wanted to make this trio of Live, Love and Laugh frames for my home. With small strips of paper, I was able to use the entire collection of beautiful patterns. I chose simple shapes (the butterfly, flower and heart images) that I could repeat and layer to create added dimension inside the frames, and the bold, corrugated alphas were the perfect choice for the titles.
