Welcome to day two of our Spring Issue Challenge Week! We are so happy to share a new challenge from special guest BreAnn Loveland, the owner and creator behind one of our favourite crafty tools, The Ink Stand! Of course, we had to ask her to come up with a colour challenge for us! Let’s take a look!

Hey friends! BreAnn Loveland here with a fun card project and color challenge for  Spring Issue Challenge Week. First, let’s take a look at the color scheme that I used to create with:

For my project today, I am using products from Concord and 9th.

Supplies | Concord and 9th: Sweet Bee Stencil PackSweet Bee DiesHappy Rays BundleHoneycomb Quilt Top DieOceanside CardstockOceanside Ink Pad; The Ink Stand: The Ink Stand MiniThe Ink Stand Rectangle; Distress Ink: Mowed LawnSpun Sugar, and Shaded Lilac

To begin this card I started by ink blending all of the layers of the Concord and 9th Sweet Bee layering stencils with Mowed LawnSpun Sugar, and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks. To keep my inks in place, I used my Ink Stand Mini.

Next, I used the Concord and 9th Sweet Bee coordinating dies to die-cut my stenciled background.

I needed to add a little texture to my background so I decided to ink blend the leaves from the layering stencils onto some Concord and 9th Oceanside cardstock with Oceanside Ink. I think the tone-on-tone adds great texture to the background.

I also used the Concord and 9th Honeycomb Quilt Top die for a little more background texture.

To finish my project I added a little bit of glitter to the flowers and popped them all up with foam squares.

I hope you enjoyed my project today and I hope you will give this color challenge a try. Have a great day, friends!
