Happy Challenge Week, friends! For the challenge this week, I am working with a cool, analogous color scheme, which I think you’ll love!

Since it’s almost March 21st, the official start of spring, I decided to make a pocket page summarizing the season. Have a look:

Supplies | Cards: Scrapbook.com Everyday Moments Simple Scrapbooks Cards; Stamps: Scrapbook.com Best Day Ever Wordfetti; Stickers: Elle’s Studio, American Crafts; Page protectors: Becky Higgins Project Life Design A; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Font: Remington Noiseless

In this 6″ x 12″ double pocket page layout, I recorded memories from Spring 2019. I cut two Design A Project life page protectors in half and printed seven 3” x 4” photos that share small details from everyday life from that time period. I really love creating seasonal-themed layouts, bringing them together with a numbered list.

I selected blue, green, and yellow cards from the Everyday Moments Simple Scrapbooks Cards from Scrapbook.com, pairing them with basic, detailed cards. The 3” x 4” “on the record” card from the same collection is a perfect way to tell a smaller story. I love telling shorter stories–especially for summary pages like this one.

Not only can you use this cool analogous colour scheme in the pocket cards you select, but also with the photos you choose to print. Here I selected pictures that included blues, greens, and yellows. As you will notice, I paired them with American Crafts Thickers to direct the viewer’s attention.

Next time you sit down to create a pocket page, consider selecting products and photos using this colour scheme. It is a fun way to direct your scrapbooking and document this season of spring. Thanks for looking!
