Hello crafty friends! It’s Nathalie here with you today to share a new project inspired by the Spring/Summer 2024 Magazine issue. I always take notes and mark pages of the magazine that I find interesting or just super inspiring. These are always a good reference or starting point for a new project. Today, I am using one of the bonus layout sketches on page 30 as inspiration for my layout. Let’s take a look at what I have created using Scrapbook.com exclusive products:

Supplies | Scrapbook.com: Patterned paper in Boho, Charming, and Cozy 6 x 8″ paper pads, Fall Treats die set, Modern Alphabet die set, Retro Garden rub-on transfers, Gratitude stamp and die set, adhesive; Pinkfresh Studio: Small alphabet stickers; Cardstock: Michaels; Floss: Anchor

Here is the sketch I created with:

I just loved the sketch, and having all these amazing products from Scrapbook.com just made it so easy to put it all together!

It all started with a few hand-drawn hearts on patterned papers from the Boho, Charming, and Cozy 6 x 8″ paper pads. I decided to add a bit of hand stitching so that the shape of the hearts was more defined on the background. Just like in the sketch, I combined two colors of cardstock to create the base for the layout.

I wanted to bring my love of coffee to this page, so I used the Fall Treats die to create the coffee cup die cuts which I placed around my page instead of the small hearts shown in the sketch.

I replaced all the small heart decorations in the sketch with rub-ons from the Retro Garden rub-on transfers. I also took some of the floral designs and added them to white cardstock, then fussy cut them to use as die cut embellishments for my page. In addition, I also used the Scrapbook.com exclusive Gratitude stamp to add extra sentiments to my page.

To create the title, I combined the Gratitude stamp and die set with alphabet stickers from Pinkfresh Studio and letter die cuts created from the Cozy paper pad patterned paper, foam adhesive, and the Modern Alphabet die set.

I added a few extra rub ons around the page to bring it all together. I love how this turned out! Remember to check out the Spring/Summer 2024 Issue for more inspiration. The magazine is filled with ideas that can kick start your next project!
