"Hello friends! I am so excited to share a few fun projects using the Moments Like These Card Collection and Accessory Pack and a few new products from the Stampin’ Up! 2016-2017 Idea Book & Catalog. I’m a huge Project Life fan and my albums are being filled with tons of precious memories. While Project Life has a traditional way of using it, I love to explore other ways I can use these fun products.

One of my favorite handmade gifts to give to my friends is a mini album of our time spent together since we all live miles apart.  Not only was this album fun to create, it was fun to remember all the fun we’ve had creating these memories together.

I started this Mini Album using two pieces of Kraft cardstock (133674) 12 x 4”.  The cardstock was then scored every 4”, accordion folded and the two pieces of Kraft cardstock were glued together end to end to make one long accordion fold. Once the base of the album was made, it was time to embellish.

While most of the album was created using the Moments Like These Card Collection & Accessory Pack, I added a few more products to embellish the book.

  • Painter’s Palette stamp set #141657 for the front page of the book.
  • Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper #141648 used as 4 x 4 panels throughout the book.
  • Layering Squares Framelits #141708
  • Hearth & Home Thinlits #139666

All of the photos used in the album are 2 x 3 in size and changed to Black & White for a consistent look throughout the book. Tabs were created using the Hearth & Home Thinlits on pocket pages giving me more room for photos in the mini album.

Many of the titles I used for the pages were created by cutting words from the Project Life cards.

For the back of my book I used a 4 x 4 Project Life card and the words summarized my entire book.  Hooray for everyday moments!

Another great use of Project Life cards by Stampin’ Up! is creating quick and simple cards.

Snuggled inside the Moments Like These Project Life Accessory Pack are these fun 2 x 2 cards.  They are a mix of words and patterns and worked perfectly to create this 4 panel card with only a few accessories added including the sweet heart sticker- Lovely!

Another quick card I created used a 4 x 6 Project Life card that I cut down to 4 x 5-1/4 and layered onto another piece of cardstock. The words were embossed using White Embossing Powder onto Basic Black Cardstock using the Crazy About You stamp set.  I loved that I was able to create my own greeting for this simple card.

Whether you are scrapbooking or want to create cards, Project Life by Stampin’ Up! can make the process seamless when creating.  Thank you so much for letting me share a little of my creativity with you."
