Good morning SCT friends! Happy Thursday and thank you for joining us! As you know we've been pretty excited all month long as we celebrate all the industry partners we work with here at SCT. Without their full support we quite simply could not do all that we're able to do to bring a magazine to the market. But we're also excited this month as we see so many new products releasing and our partners so happily sharing them with our readers. Today is no exception. We're so pleased to be sharing with you a brand new product from our friends at Taylored Expressions called Clearly Planned and it releases TODAY! Yes, not only are you the first to see it but owner Taylor Van Bruggen has joined us to share how she has used the new Clearly Planned accessories!

"Good morning, it's Taylor here and I wanted to share our newest product release "Clearly Planned!" and share how I'll be using them in my planner!

I used the un-dated Simple Stories Carpe Diem planner so I've had fun finding unique ways to date each monthly page. I start by selecting a color theme (brights for me, of course!). Then using a combination of number stamps from the Number Game set, the Mini Caps Alpha & Numbers die set, and a few random stickers from stash, I set out numbering the days in various cardstock and ink colors. Here are a few tips I learned along the way:

  1. Taylored Expressions Premium Ink will bleed slightly through the thicker monthly pages. For a cleaner look, try stamping the numbers onto our Label It 1/2" circles and squares and then placing the stickers into the blocks. This allows you to have the perfect match of our cardstock and ink together while keeping your planner looking fabulous!
  1. Before die cutting the numbers, I back my paper with Stick It to make adhering them into the planner much easier. No need to attempt using messy glue or tape runner on these small pieces (a Xyron sticker maker works great too!).

I usually cut lots of numbers at one time and use an acrylic bead storage solution to separate leftover numbers and keep them on hand for future use.

Lastly, I created my own dashboard complete Sticky Situation notes customized with the Makin' A List stamp set. We have four different pre-printed sticky note options to customize lists for everything from exercise to goals, and meal planning to groceries. I was able to fit two on the front and two on the back of my dashboard for easy access on my week at a glance pages!

While the core collection of Taylored Expressions stamps will remain in cling mounted red rubber, stamps in our Clearly Planned collection will be made of high quality photopolymer allowing you to see through to stamp these directly into your planner. In addition, we’re debuting our innovative customizable Sticky Notes, new acrylic blocks (including a 1.75″ round sized perfectly for planner stamping),and a load of stamps and dies all designed to work together to create planner pages that will keep you organized AND make you smile!" ~ Taylor
