Tell the story of your life with Cathy Zielske!

How often do you scrapbook about you? Often? Sometimes? Never?

I’ve met a lot of women over the years in this wonderful industry of ours and I’m always surprised at how many do not put their own story on the List of Things to Scrapbook About.

If that’s you or even close to you, I would like to change that. I invite you to join me in a unique story-telling experience in my new workshop, Me: The Abridged Version for Project Life. Yep, we’re going to tell the stories of our lives using the wonderful Project Life system. We’ll use cards. We’ll use photos. We’ll use short little stories. And we’ll do it all in an A to Z encyclopedia format.

  CZ_image2

With me as your guide, we’ll work through inspiration, brainstorming, writing and photo taking and gathering. For four weeks, you’ll immerse yourself in looking at your life in ways that you might not have before. When you’re done, you’ll have an authentic time capsule of your life right here, right now.

And if you’ve already scrapbooked about yourself and think, “I like this idea, Cathy, but I’d rather do one about someone else,” you’re in luck! You can also choose to create a “You: The Abridged Version” or an “Us: The Abridged Version.” All printable cards come with the class.

Also included? All the digital files needed to complete this project digitally, with bonus instruction to walk you through those steps as well.

  CZ_image3

Today, I’m excited to give away two seats to the readers of Scrapbooks & Cards Today. To enter, simply leave a comment and tell me how often you tell your own story. Is it frequently, sometimes, or scrapbook about me? What’s that? We’ll choose two lucky winners on September 30th!  Good luck!

For a quick overview of the workshop, check out my video here.

It’s down there, somewhere between sometimes and “scrapbook about me? what’s that?”. 🙂

  2. Laura Evangeline September 20, 2014 at 10:42 am

Hmmm… I don’t think I’ve ever really scrapbooked about myself. I think it’s time to do something about that…

  3. Nita K. September 20, 2014 at 10:58 am

I never scrapbook about myself. Never.

  4. Roxane F September 20, 2014 at 11:05 am

Sometimes, more so in my project life.

  5. marylouh September 20, 2014 at 11:08 am

About the only time I scrapbook is when I go on a vacation.
they’re usually something exotic so I want to keep a memory to look at when I’m unable to travel anymore.

  6. Deepa Lakshman September 20, 2014 at 11:21 am

For the pictures that I have of me before the kids were born, they are the ones where the scrapbook me part comes. After that, not much.

  7. Amber M. September 20, 2014 at 11:33 am

I love Cathy’s style and am really keen to take this class from her!!! I am absolutely thrilled that she is part of the SCT team! I sometimes scrap about myself and have some new ideas going on a list that I want to make pages about. I thought of one just the other day while I was driving! I do make an effort to get in front of the camera often too, even though I’m not overly comfortable. Thanks so much for these give-aways – just awesome!

  8. Dena Schmitt September 20, 2014 at 11:34 am

Cathy, I would love to win a seat in this class! I am lucky to get my boy’s album’s complete (still behind, but that’s ok) so the thought of doing an album about me rarely occurs-this would be the perfect opportunity! Thanks for the chance to win!

  9. Lorie Bradberry September 20, 2014 at 11:38 am

I made an album about my favorite things about ten years ago, it was a lot of fun! Cathy’s class sounds great, I would like to take it. Project Life is something I haven’t done but would love to try. Thanks for the chance to win a spot. I would like to do an album about me.

  10. Jeri September 20, 2014 at 11:40 am

Sadly, I never tell my story, started and stopped several times. I don’t know why it’s so hard. Typical mom syndrome, I think. Always doing for someone else-kids or grandkids.I could really use that class, I’m certain.

  11. Fernanda Moisés September 20, 2014 at 12:20 pm

I never scrapbook about myself but a few years ago I have a journal to journaling about my life. I don´t do it anymore and this will be a great way to begin again and make a project about me and my life right now.

  12. Liz September 20, 2014 at 12:32 pm

Sometimes. I do have a “just for me” scrapbook, which is where my AAM pages usually go. I love that scrapbook! Even though I don’t give it as many pages as the other books, it’s pretty special. I’d love to win a spot in your class, Cathy! Thanks for the chance.

  13. Anika F September 20, 2014 at 12:35 pm

I made it my goal this year to start scrapbooking about myself. But it almost always is more about “us” it’s only very rarely about just me.

  14. Jean Marmo September 20, 2014 at 12:56 pm

    Love this idea!

  15. Julie Paradise September 20, 2014 at 1:27 pm

Hmm, there have not been many fotos of me in the years bfore this one, and that is only because my little son of almost 5 years loves to take fotos, especially of his beloved mama. (Lucky me, I know 😉
So since he takes really good fotos now of me and demands them to be included in the PL album, I have found myself to scrapbook about myself sometimes. But such an “encyclopaedic” approach would be a great opportunity to get in depth with that and journal more than I used to.

  16. barbara macaskill September 20, 2014 at 1:39 pm

I have never told my story. Believe me, it is not a story that anyone would care to read. The story of my life is centered around what ailment is acting up today. I can go from a
normal” day to the ICU faster than most people can say good morning. I do not want to leave a record of “the lady who was always sick” for future generations to read about. I can’t even remember the last time my picture was taken.
I love reading Cathy Z’s blog because she really makes everything so fun! I hope whoever wins these two classes learn lots and have a great time!

  17. Brenna September 20, 2014 at 1:45 pm

I sometimes scrapbook about myself but I’d love to do more!

  18. RPomeroy September 20, 2014 at 1:47 pm

I am occasionally in the pages of the scrapbook, not much, but not never.

  19. Anne September 20, 2014 at 1:54 pm

Out of the many hours of SBking I’ve done, very little is about myself. I am just know trying to learn how to do it.

  20. Maryanne Blahey September 20, 2014 at 1:59 pm

I have never never scrapbook a story of me, my life. I had a very hard life growing up with fighting parents. There are a lot things you don’t understand as a kid but as an adult, you see things differently. This might give a me understanding and closure on a lot of things. So therefore doing this story of me, might be a good thing.

  21. Donna September 20, 2014 at 2:11 pm

Let’s just say that I am getting a little better…

  22. Deanna September 20, 2014 at 2:24 pm

I made an album all about me about 9 years ago, before I became a mom, and now it is one of my kids’ favorites. But that was the last time I scrapped my story. I would love to win a seat in this class.

  23. Marie H September 20, 2014 at 2:27 pm

I would have to say about once every decade I make an attempt. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I don’t.

  24. Dionne September 20, 2014 at 2:28 pm

I would love to win this class. I never scrapbook about myself.

  25. Melitta Ball September 20, 2014 at 2:42 pm

“What’s That?” I hardly make it into the photographs! I always thing ‘one day’ but it hasn’t arrived yet
🙁 I think I just don’t know where to start! There are not a lot of photos from my youth as I grew up when a camera, film and flash bulbs were a privilege, only used on special occasions. So now what? No photos! How do I tell my story?
    Many Blessings,
    Melitta

  26. Brenda S. September 20, 2014 at 2:54 pm

Wow- I would soooo love to win this class. I have never told my story- “what’s that???”. It’s definitely time I did that- well past time. Just turned 5o this year. Reading about your process makes it seems less intimidating and actually doable. Thank you for sharing your personal story with us and thanks for the chance to win.

  27. Jo Z September 20, 2014 at 4:15 pm

I try to tell my stories often. I have two daughters and I think it is important to let them know that they should be care givers to themselves, first and foremost.
Thanks for the chance to win.

  28. michelle t September 20, 2014 at 5:50 pm

I never scrapbook myself. I do keep a journal but no layouts. This class would be so awesome to take. Thanks very much for a chance to win. Michelle t

  29. tiffany h. September 20, 2014 at 6:23 pm

A scrapbook about me?! I’ve never done this but want to so I’d love to win a seat in Cathy’s class. Thanks for the chance to win a great class from a great lady!

  30. Linda Johnson September 20, 2014 at 6:52 pm

First I joined a memoir writing class and wrote stories. Then I scrapped them. Now I would like to do an album for my daughter. She deserves a “boost” because she is care giver for her husband (of 43) who has a brain tumor. What a nice gift a positive spin on her life would be right now! This would be a perfect way to do it, and I would experience doing Project Life!

  31. Marcia scantlin September 20, 2014 at 7:15 pm

Maybe once or twice a year.

  32. Judy September 20, 2014 at 8:39 pm

What a COOL idea. I never think of myself as being a worthy topic for a scrapbook.
The class sounds fascinating – would love to win a seat!!

  33. Melissa C September 20, 2014 at 9:22 pm

It’s crazy, but the only fully complete scrapbook I have is one about me that I did with Cathy at CKU. I have a ton of layouts about others, but no finished albums. So I guess I fall into the sometimes category here. 🙂

  34. Betcei Butler September 20, 2014 at 9:25 pm

With 5 boys, a husband and 4 pets, I rarely, no NEVER scrapbook about ME! I would love to have something to share with them that may surprise them about Mom!

  35. Lisa Hinson September 20, 2014 at 9:29 pm

Usually when I scrapbook something about my self it has something to do with family. I have noticed I do not have many pages just about me.

  36. Bonnie September 20, 2014 at 9:39 pm

I’ve done it a few times, but not many. Pretty sad considering how long I’ve scrapbooked.

  37. Nina Oelke September 20, 2014 at 10:00 pm

I started a scrapbook about “Me” several (actually quite a few) years ago. I got a few pages done and I stopped. After that I started writing a book on Me, but I stopped that too. I don’t know why. I guess I just get muddled and befuddled and I stop because I don’t know how to do it properly. Maybe I’m not organize enough.

  38. Sandy Lewis September 20, 2014 at 11:15 pm

I do try fairly often to document some things about myself. My mom’s parents were both orphans, so it’s super important to me to leave information and history to my sons. They don’t “get it” yet, but I hope they will one day.

  39. Marjorie Pinne September 20, 2014 at 11:49 pm

I’ve always wanted to scrapbook about me but it never seems to get done. This would be the perfect opportunity. It will give me the inspiration I need to get it done! Love this idea. Thanks for the opportunity to win it.

  40. Stacie d September 20, 2014 at 11:59 pm

I scrapbook about me…what’s that? I think I have done one LO. Otherwise,I just focus on our kids.

  41. Marlene O September 21, 2014 at 2:44 am

At my husband’s insistence, last spring I started a scrapbook of my 67 years. We are still at the cottage then next week I’m flying 2,000 kms to give a week of TLC to a friend with breast cancer, then closing up the cottage, then driving 800 kms to look after two grandsons for two weeks while my daughter and SIL travel to Europe on business and pleasure, then I hope to get back to my craft room (early November). I could use help though as I’m doing more of a history rather than the details of my thoughts, feelings, routines, etc. I think this course could really help me with that. My LSS carries the Project Life line, so no excuse for me not to go that route.

  42. Enna Maugeri September 21, 2014 at 4:15 am

A few years ago I was scrapping ‘all about me’ layouts, but haven’t scrapped about ‘me’ since. It seems so much easier to scrap about my kids in the here and now, instead of ‘thinking’ of stories about ‘me’ to write about.
    Enna

  43. Velma Garcia September 21, 2014 at 4:32 am

I have not ever scrapped about my own life but this is the perfect time to start. I turn 60 (gasp!) in a few days and have been looking at pictures of myself over the past 6 decades (oh my!).

  44. Sherry Wilson September 21, 2014 at 6:50 am

I would love to win this class. I hardly ever scrapbook about myself.

  45. Marilyn E September 21, 2014 at 9:35 am

Yea, scrapbooking about myself is very much a rarity! I have learned that I need to make myself be in more pictures, because someday I won’t be around and pictures are all they will have. I have always been the picture taker, so I am learning, but it is very hard! Thank you for offering such a great class!

  46. Karen S September 21, 2014 at 9:51 am

It’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I’m in some pictures but I’ve never really discovered my voice to tell my story.

  47. lisa golub September 21, 2014 at 9:51 am

Would love to do album All About Me 🙂 Not many pictures from my younger days so I would enjoy telling my kids and grandkids what I was really like. Thank you for the chance. PS I just adore your ‘realness’ yep I made that up 🙂

  48. Alli September 21, 2014 at 9:53 am

I don’t have kids, so I scrapbook about myself as much as everyone else in my life.

  49. Bdaiss September 21, 2014 at 9:59 am

About me? I’d have to say infrequently. I scrap my work trips a bit (because come on, how can I not? They’re our National Parks!) Biut II want to scrap more about who I am and my personal history. I never seem to make the time though….Thanks for the chance.

  50. wendy September 21, 2014 at 10:00 am

This would be awesome. I’m a huge Cathy fan!

  51. Andrea Gray September 21, 2014 at 10:07 am

I do scrapbook about myself because I am the one taking the photos and documenting our lives. But I’ve been struggling with putting something more into one album. Your class looks so perfect for a ‘me’ album and I would really love to do one for my husband who never gets in the photos willingly. 🙂

  52. ArlaMo September 21, 2014 at 10:13 am

    “What’s That?” for sure!

  53. marylouh September 21, 2014 at 10:23 am

I scrapbook my vacations but I’m never in the pictures.
Might be interesting to do a book about myself. Something to leave to the granddaughter so she knows what grandma did during her life before she came along.

  54. Amy Myers September 21, 2014 at 10:24 am

Ummm…a scrapbook about me? I include things randomly about myself in my weekly PL album but an actual album about me? Not no way. Not no how. I think this would be an awesome class to take!

  55. Janet Sheehan September 21, 2014 at 10:24 am

After 13 years of scrapbooking, I have 3 pages about me!!!! I sometimes feel a little too indulgent telling about me. Also, my children are much more engaging to scrapbook about. I’d like to do more about me but just don’t know what to write.

  56. Tammy September 21, 2014 at 10:27 am

I have scrapped a few pages of my childhood, but that’s about the extent of it. This sounds like a very intriguing class. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  57. Dana September 21, 2014 at 10:33 am

Once in a while, not often enough!

  58. Christina Reister September 21, 2014 at 10:34 am

With the exception of re-done our 25 year old wedding album, I’ve not yet told my story…

  59. Desiree September 21, 2014 at 10:36 am

Cathy, you are an inspiration to women. I would love to be in your class to dedicate a little bit of “me time” to me and for me and about me.

  60. Brynn Rogers September 21, 2014 at 10:45 am

I’d love to do this class for more journaling ideas. I scrapbook some, but I would love to do more.

  61. Kristin O. September 21, 2014 at 10:52 am

Scrapbook about myself? Only when the photo is just right!

  62. Stef September 21, 2014 at 10:53 am

I always tell my story or at least attempt to.

  63. Nicole September 21, 2014 at 10:53 am

I sometimes scrapbook about myself. With little ones, sometimes it seems like their stories are more ‘interesting’ right now, but in the past few months I have actually made a few layouts about myself and my interests! Would love to win a seat in this class!

  64. Karen Peterson September 21, 2014 at 10:55 am

Scrapbook about me? I’m like the Disney mom…nonexistent but I guess it’s by choice as I like to focus on the kids. Thanks for the chance to win;)

  65. Donna U September 21, 2014 at 10:58 am

I use a calendar on what I’m up to for activities. Don’t want to forget something fun. And, like to collect those tickets, brochures, ‘I was here’ items, to document with.

  66. Jeanette Punches Nelson September 21, 2014 at 11:06 am

    Scrapbook about me? What’s that?
As my life hits a big transition and I reconnecting with people I have lost touch with, I am telling my recent history…would love help making a “prettier” version. Like” Hi, How are you? How am I? Care to read the book??” LOL

  67. Christina September 21, 2014 at 11:09 am

I scrapbook about my travels but never my daily life. Would love to take the class.

  68. Andrea W. September 21, 2014 at 11:09 am

I don’t scrapbook about me often enough. Would love to win your terrific class. Thanks for the chance.

  69. Luba Dobrianskyj September 21, 2014 at 11:10 am

I think I have one page about me…..high time that change, but I never win these kinds of things!

  70. April September 21, 2014 at 11:18 am

Unless you count selfies with my toddler…Practically never.

  71. Penny Douphinett September 21, 2014 at 11:19 am

Scrapbook about me? What’s that and who would care? I’m trying to tell my children’s stories and I’m not a part of that! 🙂

  72. Stacy Haworth September 21, 2014 at 11:20 am

I have done thousands of pages, twenty gift albums, and more other projects than I can count. I for the first time at a crop a couple months ago, did photos from my childhood. There are not a lot and they are super poor quality, but I am working with what I have 🙂 Its been fun to work on and I am surprised at what I actually remember

  73. Paula September 21, 2014 at 11:21 am

I’ve been thinking about doing this a lot lately. I started telling my girls about some boys I knew who didn’t come back from Vietnam and it made me think I do have a story to tell.

  74. ZISierra September 21, 2014 at 11:26 am

My scrapbooking is mostly about me, at work. I live on my own, my family lives in a different country, I don’t have a significant other nor children. So my topics are sort of limited, but I’m quite fine with that!

  75. Jill Jackson September 21, 2014 at 11:26 am

    I sometimes scrap about myself.

  76. Stephanie Bell September 21, 2014 at 11:28 am

I have a tendency to ‘event and holiday’ scrapbook. Often say I don’t have enough of a life to do Project Life. I think doing this class with you would help me to scrapbook about ME and guide me through a new way of doing so!

  77. Peg D September 21, 2014 at 11:40 am

Sometimes. My dad passed away two years ago and my mom this past March. I am in the process of telling out families story as a Christmas gift to my siblings. Not sure if I’ll get it done. Thinking this could be an interesting way to relate the information?
    Thanks for the opportunity. 🙂

  78. Margaret C September 21, 2014 at 11:45 am

I’ve never scrapbooked about myself – I can see the value of it, but I’ve always found it almost too personal (too many worms in that can!!!) and squirmed away from it. Now, after working with a great therapist, maybe it’s time to put it out there – or at least in a cute album!
    Thanks for the opportunity!

  79. Kim Rogers September 21, 2014 at 11:46 am

I inly get the chance to scrap about me every once and awhile. I usually find myself taking pictures of my kids and scrapping about them. Thanks for the chance Cathy!

  80. Aggie September 21, 2014 at 11:49 am

Sometimes….that’s why I need this class!

  81. Carole Jordan September 21, 2014 at 11:50 am

Somewhere between frequently and sometimes thanks to Projectlife. I’d do the “us” project about my husband and I if I win. I’ve always wanted to do that.

  82. Wendy September 21, 2014 at 11:50 am

I try for often but hit between sometimes And almost never. Would live to be a part of your class.

  83. Cheryl September 21, 2014 at 11:55 am

I rarely scrapbook about me, really only do in relation to an event/activity with my children…

  84. Dayna Johnson September 21, 2014 at 11:56 am

I haven’t ever made a scrapbook about myself. I would love to though and have kept a notebook of some ideas for whenever I do make one. Your class sounds wonderful and I would love to win a spot in it!! Thanks so much for the giveaway.

  85. Lynn Ainsworth September 21, 2014 at 12:02 pm

I have never ever scrapbooked about myself. Looking forward to the challenge – and dragging my sister in with me! Cannot wait!

  86. Theresa Frawley September 21, 2014 at 12:09 pm

What’s that? For sure! I am usually behind the camera. I have always thought I should make an album about “me” as a gift to my family but pages for my kids take precedence! Thanks for the chance to win and get me motivated!

  87. Patty Norman September 21, 2014 at 12:16 pm

I’m totally in the “scrapbook about me??” realm. I would love to have a place in this class!

  88. Netta-Jane September 21, 2014 at 12:23 pm

I always find myself torn between feeling awkward scrapping about myself and feeling guilty if I don’t because surely my daughter will want to know about my life when she’s older. But I still don’t do it very often.

  89. Chris September 21, 2014 at 12:24 pm

I would love to win this class. I never remember to put myself in there.

  90. Deborah Rikard September 21, 2014 at 12:24 pm

I don’t scrapbook nearly as often as I would like. Never about myself. Would enjoy this class and thanks for the chance to win.

  91. Marie Q September 21, 2014 at 12:35 pm

I’m def in the ‘what’s that’ category! Never done a page about me before. I know I should, but don’t know where to start. This class sounds awesome! Love your style ❤️

  92. Jodeen September 21, 2014 at 12:38 pm

I would love to take this class, to tell my own story and to learn more about digital memory keeping. I never scrapbook about myself, so this would be a really good opportunity to do just that.

  93. Nancyjo September 21, 2014 at 12:46 pm

A scrapbook about me? What’s that? I really have good intentions but I just don’t’ do it. This could give me the kick start!

  94. Pheeebzzz September 21, 2014 at 12:56 pm

I tried to start an all about me album, took the myDetails class but I still struggle to make it into the family albums…
    Thanks for the chance !

  95. rossella September 21, 2014 at 2:06 pm

I wish I could do with my stories the same things that I am able to do with my photos few embellishments and patterned paper 🙂
Maybe if I am lucky I´ll win a spot in Cathy´s upcoming class and get a chance to improve my storytelling. Good luck to everyone!

  96. Eileen Van Dyke September 21, 2014 at 2:33 pm

Not since Me: The Abridged Version in 2009

  97. Karen September 21, 2014 at 2:57 pm

It’s on my bucket list…after all the other scrapbooking projects about everyone else that I have planned. The years are flying by, should get started before it’s too late!!

  98. Quinna September 21, 2014 at 3:08 pm

I have several scrapbooks about me but none about us!

  99. Machelle ANDERSON September 21, 2014 at 3:15 pm

I try to include myself in project life.

  100. scrapper al September 21, 2014 at 3:36 pm

My story is stuck in my head so I’d love to win this class. Thanks for the chance.

  101. Elaine Uhl September 21, 2014 at 3:43 pm

I sometimes scrapbook about myself. I have a designated album that gets updated only a couple times a year — at most! I’m at a stage in life that doesn’t allow me to think through a strategic way to tell 30 years of stories and I’m too anal to do it haphazardly 😉 I really want to take this class and I keep coming back to it. I am sure it will be great!! I love your style already and I *need* simple!

  102. Judi church September 21, 2014 at 4:00 pm

I do scrapbook about myself; it’s a walk down memory lane. And I love it!! I’m always keen on new ideas for telling my story.

  103. Diana September 21, 2014 at 4:02 pm

I’m a mom of 3 teen girls. Needless to say I am always trying to stay one step ahead for everything involved with their lives. It would be great to have an actual project that would put me back in touch with who I am and who I’ve become. Thanks for the chance!

  104. Joan September 21, 2014 at 4:42 pm

Never. Is there an answer for less than never? Maybe I think my husband and boys have better stories to tell? Maybe I’m not ready to figure out my own story? Maybe I wanted to be a mom and wife more than I wanted to me? It gets pretty deep, pretty fast. What’s the difference between this and therapy?

  105. Kalynn B September 21, 2014 at 4:50 pm

Scrapbook about me…what’s that!!! I would love a seat!!

  106. Kathryn September 21, 2014 at 5:00 pm

Not quite as often as ‘sometimes’ but perhaps more than ‘what’s that?’ 🙂

  107. Tanya September 21, 2014 at 5:03 pm

Sometimes. I’m trying to be better about it 🙂

  108. Jeanie W September 21, 2014 at 5:21 pm

Sometimes I scrap about me – but at other times I wonder why – don’t think anyone (other than me ) is or will be interested in these stories. I do go back and look at my scrapped pages, so I will continue!

  109. Gina Martin September 21, 2014 at 6:01 pm

I have good intentions to scrapbook about myself but truthfully it rarely happens.

  110. Kathryn September 21, 2014 at 6:09 pm

I haven’t actually taken the time to scrapbook about myself. I’d love the chance to take this class. Thanks for the chance!

  111. Theresa Conte September 21, 2014 at 6:10 pm

Sometimes. My life seems boring to scrapbook. I’ve run out of ideas.

  112. Julie g September 21, 2014 at 7:10 pm

Gosh I try.. But honestly, part of ithe struggle is – what do I say?!

  113. Jane September 21, 2014 at 7:42 pm

I try to include me in my scrapbooking but will admit I don’t do a very good job of it. I need to do better in this department.

  114. Patti T September 21, 2014 at 9:41 pm

    Uh…never!

  115. Sally September 22, 2014 at 12:48 am

Never ever … Sad isn’t it. Thought about it..pondered what to write..where to start..how to start…etc…and then the laundry called..dinner called …kids needs..husband’s stuff etc…excuses, excuses! Enough is enough it’s time to begin! Thanks for inspiring me☆☆

  116. Bernadette Gerich September 22, 2014 at 1:17 am

I very rarely make it into a photo let alone feature on a LO! This class looks awesome.

  117. Theresa Erwin September 22, 2014 at 1:40 am

Scrap about me — that’s on my wishlist. One of these days. I’d love to win a seat in this class because it might be the kick in the pants I need to get started.

  118. Michelle September 22, 2014 at 5:52 am

Scrapbook about Me???? What’s that? LOL! I would love to win this class, thanks for the opportunity Cathy Z – you’re awesome.

  119. Kay September 22, 2014 at 7:51 am

I’ve got the album, and the pocket pages, but haven’t yet made the time or inspiration to work on my Project Life. Just the push I need. Love to win.

  120. Jessica Dougherty September 22, 2014 at 9:47 am

I try to document my stories, but often times I’m so focused on others that it’s hard to really capture MY story! thanks for the chance 🙂

  121. Barb September 22, 2014 at 10:04 am

I think about my story a lot, but never tell it. Now that I am divorced and have an entirely empty nest, I should tell my story so I would know there is something left. They were always the most important . Would love to take part in the class

  122. wendy September 22, 2014 at 11:31 am

I am making a scrapbook of my honeymoon, but it’s more about the trip than about me, so I’d say ocassionally

  123. Hetty September 22, 2014 at 1:09 pm

I love scrapbooking and recently discovered Project Life. It seems like a great way to document life. I love to get more tips and tricks and this clas looks like just doint that.

  124. Sonya Fuller September 22, 2014 at 2:17 pm

I never scrapbook about me…as a matter of fact I am rarely even in the photos!

  125. Lisa Borbely September 22, 2014 at 2:19 pm

I do Scrapbook about myself since I am the one doing our Project Life album, but I am always looking for mor inspiration!

  126. Sandra L. September 22, 2014 at 3:48 pm

Sorry to say that I hardly ever, i mean never, tell my story. I’m lucky if I make it into the photograph. I’m the one always taking the pictures! With that being said, I would love a seat in Cathy’s class. I thing I can scrounge up some pictures of me somewhere 🙂

  127. Barbara September 22, 2014 at 5:58 pm

I loved this idea when I first saw you advertise it on your blog. I’m so not about scrapbooking about me. I would love to change that and start scrapbooking about me – I want to start scrapbooking to leave behind something to help my daughters look back and know more about me than just being Mom.

  128. linda September 22, 2014 at 6:58 pm

I’m getting better with documenting my life, started project life 2 years ago. Still have hard time putting photos of myself into it, working on that part….thanks for giveaway! 🙂

  129. Stacy T. September 22, 2014 at 11:07 pm

I haven’t scrapbooked much because I’m single and I don’t have kids – so I stick to cardmaking. However, I love this idea and will actually get into scrapbooking now.

  130. Tracey Smith September 22, 2014 at 11:55 pm

I get to do a lot of scrapping layouts as gifts for people when they leave out team so they have memories of their time with us in Australia, and also as a record of all the wonderful people we’ve had on team. Any time left will be devoted to family scrapping which doesn’t leave much time for me. I love to be directed and inspired in a class, that way, I might actually appear on some pages!
    Tracey

  131. Marlys Leder September 23, 2014 at 12:25 am

I have often thought about doing a “Me” book, but somehow I never get around to actually doing it. I begin to feel overwhelmed with questions, especially: “How/where do I start?”

  132. aj September 23, 2014 at 12:42 am

I don’t really think that I’ve ever truly scrapbooked about me. I’ve done trips and projects for other people, but not for me, about me. Having a class like this would help spark my creativity in this realm, that’s for sure.

  133. Mrs. Freya September 23, 2014 at 1:40 am

Trying went to… I give up… I keep thinking about it. Just me turned into more everyone I love and their life events. Which is beautiful, but still not me.

  134. Yaeloc September 23, 2014 at 5:56 am

I acttually scrap myself in lot’s of pages. I like making photo’s with my smartphone and use a wifi printer to easily print them. And ofcourse lot’s of photo’s are selfie with my little toddler.
The everyday moments are most fun to scrap. Now I just have to find a method (and time) to get all those photos in my scrapbook…. 🙂

  135. Dee September 23, 2014 at 8:49 am

I have done aspects of my life as in my wedding album and told stories of my family and I am in there. i have done albums for each of my daughters telling the story of their lives and have been meaning to do my own… I just haven’t got to it yet. this could be the push i need to take that next step.

  136. Kathy R September 23, 2014 at 9:50 am

I purchased the class form you a few years ago and never really finished it. Oddly I was thinking about it again and thinking it might get finished if I used the PL style to complete it and here you are.

  137. Samantha Chapman September 23, 2014 at 4:47 pm

“What’s that?” I am another one – I never scrapbook about myself. And I’m rarely in front of the camera. I still love to capture the stories where I’m present but not photographed but it’s a tough habit to break.

  138. Mandastevo.wordpress.com September 23, 2014 at 7:27 pm

I include myself in my project life pages but its usually about things I’m going or what is happening not the real stories about who I am and where I’ve come from. I really need to get those stories down, its important for me to tell that part of my story.

  139. Memoriesbymanda September 23, 2014 at 10:10 pm

I am currently working on my first PL style album – i love it ( easiest way to record 1,100+ photos of my trip to Singapore, Italy, Munich and USA). I believe in documenting yourself in your albums even though it feels strange to do it. I don’t have children so when I am no longer here I want there to be a legacy/testimony of who I was. To prove that I was here and I lived and loved well.

  140. Theresa September 23, 2014 at 11:54 pm

I guess I scrapbook about me all the time. Each time my husband and I go on an adventure, I take photos and then scrapbook about it–our vacations, the beach, ziplining, bowling, etc. I am starting my fourth album.

  141. Julie H September 24, 2014 at 12:36 am

I regret that I didn’t have more photos taken of me when my kids were growing up. I did just receive piles and piles of photos when I was growing up. It would be great to get these organized. This class seems perfect for me.

  142. Helen September 24, 2014 at 1:20 am

Oh I definitely fall into the “about me? What’s that?” category! I do enjoy taking the hassle out of it for others though, and make their scrapbooks for them instead! TFS this wonderful giveaway!

  143. Mandy R September 24, 2014 at 10:20 am

I occasionally tell my own story. Probably 1 out of every 10 pages I make are about myself.

  144. Debbie R September 24, 2014 at 2:47 pm

I’ve never thought much of telling my story until I faced some serious health issues. I realized that my daughhters may never know if I don’t make the time.

  145. Agata September 24, 2014 at 2:57 pm

It happens. Yep. From time to time. But! There are more and more pics of me in the albums, trying to get the camera into my kids’ hands. Just for the short time it need for a pic to be taken… 🙂

  146. Sharon September 24, 2014 at 2:58 pm

I very rarely scrapbook about me. This would be a neat project to do.

  147. Diana September 24, 2014 at 3:15 pm

I would have to say “sometimes”, but the storeies are more about others .

  148. Patti Quagliarini September 24, 2014 at 3:18 pm

I generally only scrap about myself if there are pics from an event and I was there. I would love to do it more and would love to win a spot in your class! Thanks for the opportunity. 🙂
    Patti 🙂

  149. rebecca.k September 24, 2014 at 4:06 pm

I mostly scrap about my children, but I do want to scrap more about myself. I want my kids to see that I had a childhood, went to school, spent time with friends, had dreams, and generally had a different life before they arrived.

  150. Lynda James September 24, 2014 at 4:25 pm

I don’t do many scrapbook pages telling about me. In my heritage
album I did put a page about my adoption and some pages and
journaling about my young years. It seems in the last 40 years I
have not recorded much about me. It seems so much easier to journal about my children and grandchildren and my mother.
Somehow my husband and I get left out of the picture as we are
the ones taking the pictures of everyone else.
How is that for an excuse for not doing so?
So glad you are doing this project.
    Lynda

  151. Regina Harris September 24, 2014 at 4:41 pm

Rarely do I scrapbook about me except for vacations.

  152. Vicki Fisher September 24, 2014 at 5:27 pm

I’d like a more organized approach to telling my own story. Love Cathy’s style and am up for a class!

  153. Amy Randall September 24, 2014 at 5:51 pm

I fall in the “scrapbook about me? What’s that?” group. This class looks like it would be a fun way to document ME! Thanks for the chance.

  154. Melinda Wilson September 24, 2014 at 5:54 pm

I have completed a few layouts about myself or my thoughts but I know it is not enough.

  155. Linsey September 24, 2014 at 6:40 pm

I try to scrapbook about myself, but seeing the heap of photos to be scrapped about other stuff usually steers me in that direction, despite my intentions. I bought a smash album for random stories and tidbits about me…I think I have completed 3 or 4 pages in over a year. :-/

  156. Angi MakingMayhem September 24, 2014 at 6:50 pm

“Who me?!” Um. Rarely. As in I think I have made less than 5 pages in the last 20 years! But now my youngest is a tween and now I have some independence and even *gasp!* time to devote to my story…and I have been hoarding…ahem…collecting Project Life sets for this very purpose! Thanks for the chance to win a seat in your class!

  157. Lisa September 24, 2014 at 7:49 pm

Never. But colour me intrigued ! I’m inspired to try out a page on my story. Thanks for the neat idea.

  158. Larissa Heskett =) September 24, 2014 at 7:52 pm

I think I’ve scrapbooked about myself maybe twice in the last 15 yrs!! I NEED to change that!! THSNKS for sharing and have a Fabulous Week!! =)

  159. Alice King September 24, 2014 at 11:18 pm

After 3albums of my daughter,3 albums of my son, a calendar for My mother in law and countless cards for my sisters and several pages dedicated to our pets, I can honestly say, I have never done a single page about myself . There are very few pictures of me when I was young so I would have no earlier pictures to create around. Where would I start?

  160. Lynnscraps September 25, 2014 at 12:50 am

I don’t scrapbook about myself, I think I am afraid to, maybe this class could give me insight. Thanks for the chance to enter.

  161. Liz September 25, 2014 at 1:55 am

    A-Z. Fantastic idea.

  162. Anne L September 25, 2014 at 4:12 am

I tell an odd bit here and there and always plan to do some scrapbooking – ‘start next week’ …..!! Don’t know where to start or how to. An abridged version sounds a great way to start.

  163. Paige September 25, 2014 at 8:12 am

I never used to scrapbook about myself until I read an article about getting in the picture and realized that when I am gone, my children will long to see pictures of me and know more about my life (as I do with my Mom passed). So I’ve done a couple recent layouts about me and hoping to do more. I would love to be a part of this class.

  164. Laura S September 25, 2014 at 9:43 am

Rarely. But lately I’ve been including an occasional memory of my childhood in our project life album. My kids’ experiences and other snippets of life are conjuring up many memories.

  165. Kim JD September 25, 2014 at 11:49 am

I never scrapbook about myself but think it is important for my daughters. Thanks for the chance to win a seat to this class.

  166. Amy Peacock September 25, 2014 at 12:27 pm

Sadly unless I “happen” to be in the photo it is rare that I am in the scrapbook. I am the one behind the camera, like most of us are, so I will say “scrapbook about me? What’s that?”
Great idea to get me motivated though!!

  167. Diane Sedge September 25, 2014 at 2:07 pm

Really want to….but never do. Recently have been looking at using some random travel photos to tell my story. Maybe a good time to begin

  168. Heather Pitre September 25, 2014 at 5:33 pm

I recently completed a book on myself for my 50th. Now that I am going to be a granny I think that it is important for future generations to learn about me and doing your own book is good for yourself to see what you have accomplished in your life, so far. These sets are amazing and would make it easier to scrap and journal about yourself and make it a topic that people would less likely try to avoid in the future. thanks for a chance to win one of them.

  169. Darla September 25, 2014 at 11:50 pm

I would love to get my story recorded as we forget things so easily and our story is always something to Cherish and no one really knows the intimate details like we do. I would so love to win this class!

  170. Neydie September 26, 2014 at 4:28 pm

I would really like to scrap about me, especially now that I found some vintage photos of my childhood! Looking for ways to create a collection of childhood memories with an older 60’s 70’s vibe.

  171. Julie September 27, 2014 at 11:58 am

I would say, rarely. But, I’m definitely open to the idea!

  172. Janet September 28, 2014 at 12:17 pm

I am just starting to get serious about an album about me; at 70, it is about time. Too much thinking. Not enough doing. This class would be a huge boost for page ideas, especially since there are few photos of me. Thanks for the chance.

  173. Julie A. Shearer September 29, 2014 at 10:55 am

Sadly, I never scrap about myself. There really are not that many photos of me. When my boys were young I was always behind the camera. My youngest son is a photo bug like me so recently he has taken lots of photos of his favorite mom. This would be a fun class. Thanks for a chance to win.

  174. Bridget Cheetham September 29, 2014 at 12:35 pm

I tend to document about everyone else and very little about myself. I would love the challenge of documenting my life using your workshop and the Project life system. Thanks for the chance to win.
