Good morning, SCT friends! Sheri Reguly here! I have a coordinating pair of Thanksgiving cards to share with you today. The majority of the products that I used are recent releases from Close To My Heart, with a few extra embellishments added to the mix.

For my first card, I selected a solid dark blue background and created a subtle tone on tone effect using a leaf outline stamp and a darker shade of blue ink.

A block of patterned paper was added to the bottom portion, and then both pieces were matted onto a kraft colored cardstock. A die cut decorative edge was added above the patterned paper, along with a double wrap of embellishing thread. A pre-made die cut tag was centered and adhered within the top portion of the design using adhesive foam. The tag was then decorated with a sentiment sticker and a various assortment of embellishments. A large pre-made bow and a couple of enamel dots added the perfect finishing touch.

For my second card, I used a multi-square window die along with white cardstock.

SUPPLIES: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper, Window Die, Stamp, Vellum Die Cuts, Kraft Die, Black & White Complements: Close To My Heart; Enamel Dots: Simple Stories, My Mind’s Eye; Decorative Buttons, Tag, Puffy Sticker: Pinkfresh Studio; Fabric Bow: Crate Paper; Ink: Ranger Industries; Additional Metal Dies: My Favorite Things

I backed the die with a cardboard effect patterned paper and adhered it to a plaid patterned paper background. A leaf patterned paper was adhered to the lower portion and a die cut flagged banner was adhered to separate the upper and lower halves. A pre-made tag embellishment was threaded, centered and adhered to the top portion using adhesive foam. Vellum leaf die cuts were applied on top, followed by the sentiment. A supporting sentiment was computer generated and then printed onto a wood grain pattern paper. It was cut out using a flag die and adhered within the right bottom window.  A decorative button, puffy sticker and a few enamel dots added the perfect finishing touch and completed the design.

Thanks so much for joining me. Wishing you all a wonderful day! :)
