Hello, Scrapbook & Cards Today friends! It’s Becki here to share a layout with you that I created with the One Fall Day collection from our friends at Bella Blvd. This collection is so, SO cute! It’s no secret that fall is my favorite season. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday so this collection is at the top of my list for fall and Thanksgiving-themed projects.

Patterned paper is another favorite of mine. I always add LOTS of patterned paper to my layouts and this layout is no exception. I was inspired by the awesome sketches in the Spring/Summer 2024 Issue of SCT Magazine created by Allison Davis and I used them as a jumping-off point for this layout. Many of the sketches have strips of patterned paper down the center of the layout. 

I cut several strips of patterned paper from the One Fall Day collection pack in various sizes. After adhering the strips down the center of the layout, I stitched down each strip of patterned paper with my sewing machine and white thread. 

Because the strips of patterned paper are vertical, I also wanted the title to be vertical. I used some small brown puffy letter stickers from Doodlebug Design to create part of the title. The strips of patterned paper are so bold, that I wanted the title to fade into the brown background a little bit. 

I added the photo on the bottom right side of the layout. The large photo balanced the boldness of the title and patterned paper strips. I added a few embellishments to the lower right corner of the photo. Most of the embellishments are popped up with foam adhesive to create texture and dimension.
