Hello SCT friends! It’s Aly Dosdall here, and I’m so happy to be back with you today sharing another one of my favourite crafting tools. I love when tools make crafting not only easier, but more creative and fun, and the tool I’m featuring today does just that.

DIY Party Confetti Punch

Say hello to the DIY Party Confetti Punch from We R Memory Keepers. With the popularity of shaker pockets and confetti in paper crafts currently, this handy little punch will get lots of mileage at my house. With one punch this awesome tool makes several bits of confetti in two different sizes. Plus, the design in the leftover paper is perfect for saving and using on another project like the layout I made below.

To create this layout I used several leftover scraps from punching confetti and scattered them throughout my layout from the top left corner to the bottom right.

After punching lots of confetti I set it aside and saved it for another project I’ll be sharing with you soon.

Then I used my circle cutter to cut out the negative confetti designs. I backed some circles with coordinating cardstock to let some color show through.

I filmed a short video sharing some of the cool features of the Confetti Punch, and to show you how I created the circles for this layout. Check it out below!

To finish off my layout I added a title that I cut from the patterned paper in the Urban Chic collection by We R Memory Keepers.

I also added some typed journaling sharing some of my feelings about my daughter’s personality and my hopes for her future.

Well, that’s it for me friends! Thanks for letting me be here with you today. I hope this project inspires you to look at your crafting tools in a different light. See if you can find unexpected ways to use them on your projects. Happy crafting!

Partner Celebration DAY 30!

We're sure if you've been papercrafting for a while then you are very familiar with our friends We R Memory Keepers. Here's a little background about We R Memory Keepers:

"Over 90 years ago William R. Hiller and his two sons began building a reliable book binding business. The old Provo Book Bindery emerged as one of the premier bookbinding and preservation resources in the United States.Always looking for ways to help people stay in touch with their histories and memories of the past, Hiller Bookbinding began manufacturing one of the first albums intended specifically for keeping memories stored safely and securely in more than just a photo album.

With the emergence of the wonderful art of scrapbooking and paper crafting, came the ever-increasing need for high quality, functional, and creative scrapbook products that were specifically designed to preserve and enhance memories that would last for generations."

In 2014, We R Memory Keepers joined the American Crafts family of brands and they continue to manufacture some of the most functional products including albums, amazing tools, paper collections and so much more! We've loved partnering with We R Memory Keepers for many years and of course they were only too happy to join our celebration by offering one lucky SCT reader this fun Confetti punch and a selection from the Urban Chic collection!
