Howdy, everyone! Happy 2019 & happy almost February :)
It’s Layle Koncar – think ‘Gayle’, with an ‘L’ – Director of Marketing for Simple Stories & Carpe Diem. I’m excited to be back on the Scrapbook & Cards Today blog again this year sharing a peek into the Type A, planning and organizational side of my personality with you!
I don’t know about you, but it seems to me like January has lasted about 83 days! I’m super anxious to turn the page on January & jump into February with both feet. This month I’m sharing my Traveler’s Notebook (TN) set up for February using the Simple Stories Kissing Booth collection.
At the risk of sounding cliche, I just LOVE this collection! The mix of florals and gingham paired with black, reds and pinks make this such a fun collection for February. I started out by decorating the pockets of my Carpe Diem TN using stickers from the 12×12 sticker sheet.
Then I fussy cut some of the flowers from the Always Be True paper added those to the pockets as well. What a fun touch!
I then made simple slip covers for two inserts that I adhered with washi so I can easily remove the covers and decorate them again for March and continue to use the same inserts.
I used some of the Kissing Booth 4×6 Stickers & Puffy Stickers to decorate the February calendar in my Monthly TN Insert. Here’s a ‘before the pen’ look – before I started writing in the things taking place next month.
I’ve created a process video walking through the set-up of this Traveler’s Notebook and how I use it for work on a daily basis. If you’d like to watch the video, see below! Also, be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more planning videos.
Thanks so much for letting me share my February Traveler’s Notebook set up with you. You’ll find me on Instagram here at @laylekoncar; keep an eye out on Instagram for more of my planner & traveler’s notebook adventures :)
Here’s to a LOVE-ly month!
