Today, we would like to welcome designer Carla Peicheff to the blog to share a FABULOUS Valentine’s Day card tutorial with us. Here is her tutorial:

Hi Everyone! Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and I’m going to show you how to make a quick and easy card for anyone on your list this February 14th!
Now…let’s get started, shall we?

Step One:

Cut your main piece of cardstock to 4 ¾ x 4 ¾” and adhere to card base.
Cut 4 squares of patterned paper to fit; approx 2 ¼” each pc. I made my squares 4 different sizes, which is another option to be a little unique. Adhere to card.

Step Two:

Stitch around 4 squares of patterned paper. If you don’t have a sewing machine, you can hand stitch, pierce holes along the edges, distress, or just leave it as is.

Step Three:

Layer your smaller blossom over the larger button; adhere with a glue dot. Insert embroidery thread through button, tie knot in back, and adhere to blossom using glue dot.

Step Four:

Adhere chipboard letters as shown; with the L and O on top 2 squares, and the V and E, on the bottom 2 squares. Adhere the blossom to the side of the “V” and the heart on the right hand side of the O.

Step Five:

Adhere the final touch of bling on sides of flower, and at the end of the heart.
And that’s all there is to it! I hope you enjoyed my tutorial! If you try out my card, I’d love to see! Please link me up from either here or my blog so I can take a peek and leave a comment!

Have a fabulous Valentine’s Day everyone!
